Lena, I would avoid using the phrase "the world is changing so quickly" because there are windows of opportunity, and it is within these timeframes that our elites are operating. The design is already in place, though we don’t fully understand it yet-we only hold a few pieces of the puzzle. However, know that these changes are unfolding over the course of centuries, possibly millennia. What we are witnessing is the end of the Holy Roman Empire and the birth of a new order rising from its ashes. This time, it will emerge under the sign of Aquarius, and whether they like it or not, the elites will have to adapt. This adaptation is bringing about the disorder and chaos that no one seems able to explain. These are grand cycles that seem to repeat throughout history.

Hi Lena,Thank you for your great work-it’s really appreciated. I wanted to share my two cents about BRICS. While they share similar visions and goals, which still need to be clarified and defined both among themselves and within the international framework, it seems that they don't necessarily get along well. For example, take India and China-I'm not sure they are entirely happy to be grouped together. India, for instance, remains a stronghold of English influence, and it’s no coincidence that English companies are investing heavily in the country. We may see some surprises in the future as a result. I wanted to share my two cents about BRICS. The US sanctions two Indian companies for operating vessels that carry LNG from Russia to India under the " Russia Arctic 2 project " . These sanctions came soon after Putin outlined his plans for development of the East Russian region. This is another step towards expanding the economic war . Big Chinese banks have been avoiding processing Russian payments recently which has led to a scarcity of the Chinese currency in Russia forcing Russian businesses to do currency swaps with their central bank. Now US seems to be moving ahead with secondary sanctions against Chinese and Indian companies . These are the two biggest BRICS economies . I think this gentleman should worry about Russian economy first . The US looks determined to destroy the Russian economy .

Common currency in BRICS?? Take a lesson from the EU. Stay with your own national currencies. Tying all members to a common currency disables the freedom to let your national currency float (up or down) against other currencies.

Both IMF and Russia offered Ukraine 15 billion dollar loan during the time when Euromaidan coup d'etat is ongoing in 2013-2014. However there's clear difference. The sad thing for me is that people's minds just cannot stop thinking in terms of a system that demands infinite GROWTH, the complete opposite of a sustainable system, and our very survival now depends on us creating a SUSTAINABLE system. A system that demanded growth wasn't so bad before we reached a population of many billions but now our very existence depends on ending it. The planet doesn't GROW.

Many countries will continue to do trade with the US and hence USD will be used for a long time. De-dollarization is mainly adopted to prevent the US government from freezing a country's USD assets in the US and its allies.
@richardenders6606Ай бұрын
@michaelloong964 - why will BRICS members conduct trade between themselves or any other non-dollarised country in dollars as opposed to their own currencies or the proposed BRICS currency? EU members conduct their internal trade in euros not $, why wouldn't BRICS members and affiliates who actively wish to remove themselves from the dollar do the same?
@michaelloong964Ай бұрын
@richardenders6606 euro is a trusted global currency. So no need to use USD for EU countries trade. Not all BRICS countries currency is trusted yet. They need currency swap first to do bilateral trade.

Thank you so much for this interview, Lena. Very refreshing to hear an unbiased analysis based on concrete economic, financial, and geopolitical situations rather than the usual occasional rant we hear from the West. Regarding Turkey: it has a common border with Russia in its Eastern region, where NATO and the Americans have a very strategic basis and listening devices against Russia. Turkey has also done business with Russia for years since the creation of the Bosphorus that enables the Russian tankers to reach Europe and Northern Africa. The Turks have started digging a canal, the likes of the Panama canal, for greater transportation capacity between the 2 countries. It is a country in full expansion. One question: why does Mr. Lisovolik refer to the BRICS 4? They are 5 to my knowledge.

For all the talk about Turkey, no real exploration of its recent hyperinflation? Are we to believe Turkey is attracted to BRICS based on the virtues of cooperation and the democratization of economies? That is as unrealistic as the US "liberating" various peoples for "democracy."

the Chinese EV protective tariffs from EU and US, China has put in place a back door to bypass that: China will be manufacturing their EV cars in Morocco which is very close to EU and with access across the Atlantic to the US and has free trade treaties to allow Morocco the export of these cars to both EU and US. So China not only benefiting from Morocco cheap labor, and realizing profits but also saving money on shipping and EU and US high tariffs. So no worries about China in this area.
