I don’t think any of the major powers care to find out. Also, Russia is not a source of innovation, rich enough, or as populous as the US + EU as an export market for China. If made to choose between access to Western markets and support for Russia, China would easily choose the earlier (though of course, we don’t live in that kind of world anymore…).
