Bride cries when she sees her paralyzed father stand for the first time

Former IndyCar driver, Sam Schmidt was paralyzed from the neck down in 2000. Savannah was only 2 years old when it happened and has never known a time when her father could stand. On her wedding day, they shared an extremely special dance together.
We were lucky enough to witness and document this incredible moment for the family. It wasn't easy holding the camera still with tears in our eyes, but we did our best.

Such a courageous and loving dad. The whole family knows what sacrifice is all about.
