I'm so glad Lori said something. "Cute" like a child is not a wedding dress!!! A person should get the dress they want to wear. Her mother wanted her daughter to look like her little girl still. Parents have got to stop

My Daughter is 10-20 years away from marrying anyone, but I’ve already told her that the only thing I’d pressure her about is: ”Will the pics be cringy to you a decade afterwards?” Otherwise I’ll support her choice whatever it is.
@katarinawikholm58733 жыл бұрын
@Мур, умный кот All I said was I wanted her to make an active choice, to think about if this is what she wants bc it’ll be a longterm memory. If she’s sure, then fine.

I took both of my daughters shopping for their wedding gowns! There were no arguments or bossiness! They both fell in love with the first dress they tried on! I paid for them and we were all happy!! It’s their day, let them get what they want! Within the budget, of course!

@@NightCalls001 The sad thing is that when someone else is paying for your wedding dress you must take that person with you to the bridal shop. I saw mine in a shop window on my way to work, fell in love with it, went in, tried it on, bought it, and nobody saw it till I walked down the aisle.

IMO brides should go wedding dress shopping ALONE. That way they can get what they want without interference from others.
