I’ve heard her mother killed a fireman in a DUI accident, and did not get prosecuted. This was years ago. If the family knew their children could have inherited alcoholism, why did they not get their daughter help along time ago. I, wonder, if this young woman knew that her mother killed someone while driving. The parents should have drilled this story and the ramifications into her head. She should have known better.

never did he say "well, you made some extremely bad choices and have to face the consequences" "Jamie - you KILLED someone and it was on her wedding night. Can you imagine what her family is going through right now" - I feel it is so important to always be real with your kids, you may always still love them but you need to be straight up with them when they make a mistake and he should have told her that her bad choices led to her single handedly ruining many lives.

I’m in disbelief that she’s 25 years old! I left home as a very naive 14 year old and was more mature than her. From listening to the way she views the situation I wasn’t all that surprised that her dad reinforced the fact that she’s the victim. Instead of telling her that it happened because she made poor choices and brought this on herself, he used the old, bad things happen to good people line. It bothers me that her father never once said anything about the brides family and how they must be hurting. Her family should have privately reached out to the brides family, acknowledged their loss, and apologized on behalf of their family. But what really made my stomach turn was how he seemed to gloat that people made a joke about them being connected to the mob in order to get the lawyers that they got for her.

That's because parents coddle their kids and don't make them accountable for ANYTHING!! When you tell a child yes yes yes and YES all the time they don't comprehend the word NO as adults and THIS is what you get 🙄

God, please be with Samantha's family and her husband. May they find peace and comfort. Also, let them celebrate and cherish the wonderful time they did get to spend with her. I pray they receive the justice she and they deserve. I also pray for the lost soul of the young lady that caused this tragedy. I hope she realizes what she has done and the magnitude of it all. I hope she becomes remorseful for what she has done and begs for forgiveness. This is just a tragedy all the way around. R.I.P . Samantha 🙏🏻

This Drunk driver shows herself for what she is. Selfish to the core, does not think about the grief, loss of a shining light, a newly married husband who has lost the woman he loves, will remember his wedding day as the day he married and lost his bride. You can see the joy of the families of both sides, united by the marriage of Samantha and Eric, which is how it should be. And this drunk, all she can think about is how can I get out of this! I have no doubt that she would be drink driving again if she got bond, as she does not even think about facing the consequences of her actions. I do not know if her father is appeasing her, but he seems to be onside about getting her 'off', saying about they have got her the best lawyers, not a mention of the tragedy that has occurred due to her actions. As for the boyfriend, well, I think Carol Lieberman is right, he has checked out of his relationship with her. I think she knows it too, and is trying desperately to keep his interest. One would think she would be reflecting on the results of her bad choices, and that she is responsible for taking away a beautiful person from so many people who loved her, and the effect this will have on the rest of their lives. There is something seriously wrong with this person. Maybe she has been 'coddled' all her life and has never had to take any accountability. Eric, I am so sorry that this has happened. But, I am glad she had her wedding day, you can see the joy and happiness emanating from everyone on that day in the photos. Samantha, may you rest in peace, a bright, shining star watching over everyone you love, and who loved you😒

Not only did she killed, but now the bride can't breathe see touch live, the drunk driver shouldn't see the light of day, she also sent the groom to a coma fighting for his life. You can drink at home all you want but don't drink and drive cuz you can kill an innocent human being!

First, my sincerest condolences to the husband, sister and entire family on the loss of their loved one. Blessings, comfort and healing to you all. 🙏🙏🙏 The fact this girl said, "I don't know why this had to happen to me?!" is enough reason to put her away for a really long time. Scary how there are many more people like her walking around in the world with a sense of entitlement and taking absolutely no accountability for anything.

Wow, I really had a heart for all involved, the victim’s family more so. But then I hear it was 65 in a 25 that she was speeding through areas where golf carts are being driven. Then I hear how she acted with her father and his responses to her and I see she is entitled. My mouth dropped hearing her say Why did this have to happen to me? Then her fathers response was unbearable to hear. Bad things happen to good people doesn’t quite fit here. The saddest part is, she can never be taught to care for others or to own her actions or even stop to think what she has done to so many people. That ship has sailed. I see no remorse and no way for her to change. She just doesn’t get it. I always want to believe that people make mistakes and they feel bad for what they did and they will punish themselves and have to deal with God, but people like this, need us to keep them behind bars for the greater good. I really hate to say it. 😢

I'm confused why Samantha's Mom wants to keep her daughter's name, her maiden name, and not her married name? She almost seems angry about the groom. They did get married so why isn't she Samantha Hutchinson? That's confused me!! The whole story is so incredibly sad. Beautiful couple and a pathetic drunk driver whining about her poor life in prison, at least she kept her life!

The MIL and her sister are money hungry; they don't want the groom to get anything (financially) related to the death of Samantha *HUTCHINSON* . They don't want the groom to get the insurance, civil lawsuit payouts, GoFundMe accounts, bank accounts / estate of Samantha *HUTCHINSON* . Both of these bitter women are after the 💰. The sister just said she uprooted her family, moved them and was shopping at Goodwill. Both MIL and sis are desperately trying to get any 💸 related to the death of Samantha. They care 'zippo' about the groom and what he's going through. Mother and sister of Samantha out for their🤑money hungry🤑 selves.

I understand it. She was Sam Miller for 32 years. Not every woman changes their name when they marry. Sam probably hadn’t decided if she was going to do that. It also wasn’t legally changed. That’s a process. Her legal name is Miller.
