The last dress honestly looked nicer on her than the first, and the contrast of the laces was really pretty too. I think she had trouble seeing it since she didnt lose as much weight as she had hoped to, but the dress she ended up with was really lovely and suited her even more than the first one she fell in love with.

These are Two Ladies . They are honest enough NOT to encourage their clientele into half way acceptable alterations when They AND Everyone else knows that This is NOT the dress . It would be nice if certain Beverley Hills managers were as honest and did not encourage the client to try another too low , too ill fitting over priced unsuitable dress

I cannot align what these brides say and the action they have taken to lose the weight. I am NOT saying you have to be a size 12. For many of these women that would be unrealistic, that being said, if You are saying you want to be a size 18 to wear the dress of your dreams and not feel a laughing stock at your own wedding, your words not those who love you, then you need to do the work? Everytime I watch these programmes there is just a total misalignment between their words, their ambition since a wee girl, their life's dream to get married and feel like a princess, and the actions they don't undertake to make it happen for themselves.

There is so much more to weight loss than just restricting intake. I wish that anyone seeking to lose a large amount of weigh would first see their doctor who can get them in a weight loss program that balances proper nutrition, metabolism, exercise, and counseling, including a support system. It is a journey and should be treated as such. I think this is especially important for those that have had a life-long struggle with their weight. Also, while high protein diets can be effective the sustainability long term is questionable and it puts lots of stress on the kidneys, which is why I stress the importance of seeing their doctor first to select the best weight loss regimen consistent with their health status.

@@gracielou1407 It’s not even about restricting intake. It’s about changing what you actually eat. You can quite well as long as it’s not processed foods and empty carbs. Her health doesn’t seem to be a priority sadly especially as she starts out on married life.

I think the remedy is to be proactive long before it reaches the stage where you hate the sight of yourself in the mirror. I,m no twiggy, but l can control what l eat fairly well. Once the waistband feels a bit tight..especially after holidays and Christmas..do some exercise and eat sensibly until you get back to your ideal weight. You don,t have to starve yourself to be reasonably slim and fit. Of course, medical conditions may cause weight increase..different scenario.
