This is probably the most sensible plot, intelligently and beautifully written dialogue, and superbly acted and directed series from Turkish Television I have seen so far, and trust me I have watched at least 30 or so including the famous ones. It's a pity that stupid Canal 7 dramas like the "Legacy", "Promise" and "Blood Flowers" are more famous/popular than a series like the "Bride from Istanbul". I am just thrilled to have stumbled upon this series while searching for an alternative to the senseless/retarded "Blood Flowers". Big "Thank you" to the cast and crew of BfI.

Although “Blood Flowers,” #KanÇiçekleri, is my favorite because of #BarisBaktas and #YagmurYuskel, I do COMPLETELY agree with your assessment, in terms of the writing, the dialogue, and the progression of the storyline of “Bride of Istanbul,” or #IstanbulluGelin. On Channel 7, the writers are often frustratingly inconsistent with the character’s personality traits and permit the evildoers to escape justice for far too long, but Baris and Yagmur’s acting and amazing chemistry as onscreen partners make KC extremely watchable.♥️

It's not only the ID card - Begum had a close relationship with David (?) because at one point there's a translation of a discussion between Farouk and Begum who studied or trained with him in England and when they returned to Boursa Farouk said to her how can you know someone whom you have met 8 weeks ago .
