At 25:10, Dilara mentions a very important point when talking to Gunes. A mothers heartbeat is a way of communication for the baby. That is why, as a doctor, I always advise my patients to take it easy during pregnancy and avoid stress (easier said than done). When a mother is under stress, the heart starts beating faster and louder, and the baby in the womb can hear the rapid heartbeat of the mother, and the baby also then experiences stress and its heartbeat also goes faster and faster. That is why it is important to recite lots of durood and Zhikr and do other activities to keep the baby calm. Talk to the baby all the time, while cooking or doing gentle exercises or while watching a movie like BRIDE OF ISTANBUL, and tell the baby what is going on in the movie, as if the baby is sitting next to you. This communication gives lots of comfort and peace to the baby. So far, while in the womb for 9 months, the baby has not SEEN the mother, but has only HEARD the mother. So when the baby is born, it now links the FACE to the VOICE. That is why newborn babies can only see to a distance of about 1 foot (12 inches) because at this distance, they are being breastfed by the mother, so that they must now BOND with that voice that they have been hearing for 9 months. Enjoy your pregnancy…it is an experience that only a WOMAN can have….that is why the status of a MOTHER is so high in Islam….

This is a gem of an episode - healing of hearts all around, it’s wonderful to see Dilara making a genuine overture to Gunes. It’s great to see Emir accepting Sureyya as his second mother so sweetly. It is wonderful that Adem comes to his senses and lets Gunes know that adoption is yet another way to having a child. And the Boran men and Garip Bey pursuing Esma comically and effectively. Wow, wow, wow. EVERYONE MUST SEE THIS SERIES! I MEAN EVERYONE.

Garip and Esma just make up. Garip gone too soon. So sad to know his daughter Burcu & ex wife Siren didn't have their final moments with him. How I wish Garip character have stayed longer in the show. Garip is definitely one of my favourite persons in the whole series and he is dearly missed. Fortunately before he passed, he was with his beloved Esma by his side. Their happiness is short lived but it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

These poor baby actors. It's sad to see Ipek's baby crying. The others ones look out in space confused (because someone is behind the actor's shoulder shaking a toy trying to keep them calm and not crying). Everyone complained that Sureyya wasn't taking care of her baby but how easy it is to forget that child labor in entertainment is really tricky. Children can only work a few hours and imagine for babies - they really don't even know what's going on.

It's just that she's a baby and this is hard work. There's a lot of standing around with cameras very close in and pointed at them. They're repeatedly reshooting scenes. That's a lot for a baby or small child. I wonder how many hours she's permitted to work under Turkish law.

@@theresalinton168 There is no doubt that these babies are precious and fit well into the series. I wasn't talking about "mistakes" but pointing out how this is difficult work for babies. The crew has a lot to do behind the camera to make them look up, smile or laugh on a set that's filled with noise, lights and activity everywhere. It's tiring for babies/children. Look back and you'll see scenes where Yaz is fussy and crying. I pointed out one of those clips above.

Wow! Watching 290 episodes…!!! We as viewers also came closer to this family, all the characters became familiar. Every relationship is having good ending is the sign of heading to end this series. I will miss them. Audiences will try to find these characters when they will watch these actors in different series or in movies, but will not find these characters anywhere. I saw online, people talk about Faruk & Suraiya get together, but audiences should understand Asli & Ozcan have totally different personalities in real life. They are not Suraiya, Faruk. But all of them acted so good, next time I will remember these actors as the name of the characters of this series 😂😂😂

YES! what a great comment!!this film was the greatest I’ve ever watched right up there with THE TEN COMMANDMENTS! It pertained to EVERYTHING in real life!!! I’m on my 5th time watching it and see something I miss each time!! I’m addicted‼️I could literally write a book about how much life revelation is portrayed!! That was a dream that Sureyya had had. If she had helped Esma with what she wanted her to do she was terrified that if her daughter saw or found out then what would she think of her. That's why she didn't do what Esma wanted her to do. saw
