aww hell naw. When she goes " did anybody hear something?" on you. Is the second you get up and get your bag and leave them to pay the bill and never talk to them again. Why stay any second more to suffer??? it makes no sense to try to say anything anymore or to endure it anymore. You just leave forever after that.

Agree. I stopped caring as much what others thought about me about a decade ago. If you dont like, id rather go our separate ways instead of faking it or having to accept passive aggressive, or just straight up aggressive remarks.

Story 4, sorry OP but you disrespected yourself when after hearing how the bride felt about you, you kept trying to help out at the wedding and then later had to tolerate her bashing for something that was not under your control. If you didn't walk after the first incident you certainly should have when she berated you. Your self respect should not out weight your need to be a bridesmaid.

Oh my, here I was innocently thinking that my simple fun wedding was noting unusual. Seems like I was mistaken, if these stories are any indication of the way weddings are supposed to be. There I was, just having a wonderful time with my new husband, our newly mingled families and our dearest friends.
