I can't help but see a bit of other irony in the first story. Originally, the bridesmaids were supposed to resemble the bride as much as possible (and also the groomsmen/ushers were supposed to resemble the groom as much as possible in clothing) Why? To confuse evil spirits who could cause all kinds of misfortune, but were also stupid! I think the rules changed shortly after white became THE color for brides to wear (because Queen Victoria of the UK did so, because white, especially in older times, was a more difficult color to keep clean. So it was a thing to show off one's wealth!)

Story 1...the bride is a truly evil narcissist/sociopath...glad the bridesmaids have walked away... the maid of honor was a coward ... poor husband to be should have cancelled the wedding and left the wicked bridetilla...
