Bridge Fishing A REALISTIC SWIMBAIT For RARE FISH!!! (New Favorite Species?)

I'm not much of a traveler, but.. I have to admit. Doing a little extra driving, to experience less trash fish, and better fishing, has certainly been worth it. That said, I can't neglect the home waters completely. It just wouldn't be right. We tried these spots REAL EARLY in the year. It was meh, but spring has spring and everything is finally warming up. I woke up, got one of the kids to school, and made the short drive to the poop creek. Hoping some game fish moved up, and they did.

The medium light Stache Stick is great. Really happy with how nice it can toss a lighter bait out there, but it's strong enough for a nice fish. Been throwing a bunch of curly tails lately, and that thing is money.

The ML has been my go to lately. Ended up ordering another one after chipping the line guide insert on my original one. Repaired the chipped section with a rubber dowel and clear JB weld epoxy and it works like a brand new rod. So now I have 2 of the 6-6 stick 😆 both paired with Stradics, one with 6lb braid and the other 10lb.

Drum buds, the best walleye imitators out there. We get some huge ones in the spring here while walleye fishing. Usually see a couple in the double digits. People dislike them up here, but they hit hard and fight great so I'll take them. Keep up with the great content.

Wipers, white bass and yellow bass are our favorite eating fish. Thick and girthy. They have a very small rib cage that gives you lots more meat. The flesh is firm and flaky when cooked.❤ Have you eaten drum? Are they good? Crappie is our least favorite. The meat cooks up soft and mushy.😮 Confucius says, "You don't really want to keep them.
