The stache sticks have been insanely versatile imo. I’ve got the 6’9” medium for bigger baits but the 6’6” has been the goat. I’ve got identical setups besides the 6 and 10lb braid and they have covered nearly every aspect of my content when it comes to fishing.

Man that's a nice fishing spot. Great access, plenty of room to spread out with other fishermen, and a nice variety and quality of fish. I almost moved there in the 90's, kinda wish I had after watching these videos. Good job on the flathead, I know a few fisherman that wouldn't have been as patient and lost him.

I have never caught a flathead when I was targeting them with live bluegills or goldfish. Only caught them on crankbaits and swim baits while bass fishing. It blows my mind.
@robertbrambley87475 ай бұрын
Try using large cut baits. Ck out catfish Dave or kayak catfish with Justin Johnson. Two cut bait fisherman that catch more flatheads on cut bait than live! Tight lines Brotherman! 🤙✌️🎣

You slayed it with that pig, but I cringe every time you touch your line and drag while fighting the fish. 😅 Set that drag for pound test and species, and let it do its job. We fish kings and steelhead up here in the NW and you learn the hard way or from the guides to leave that ish alone.

Awesome flattie bud!!!! I was standing on the wing wall of a spill way one day and the water was really low so I was able to see all the fish swimming around. Right at the end of the concrete there is a drop off of about 3’ where the rocks begin and I could see something white about the size of a small dinner plate. It kept flashing white then gone over and over but in the same spot. I dropped a jig dead center and WOW what a ride, it was the inside of a flatheads mouth I kept seeing???? He was backed into the rocks and had his mouth facing straight up just opening and closing it over and over for like a half an hr. Crazy! They are an awesome fish.
