Instead of Patreon, I use KZbin for Channel Memberships: kzbin.info/door/B3w8ltYiIpSqH7sgjg1a8wjoin It's 5USD month I think. But I found the generosity too stressful. So instead of closing memberships like I did twice with Patreon, I'm donating all channel memberships to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Fundraiser Channel Member Perks: - early access - collaboration - Season 8 “Smartest Game of Thrones Fans” Contest (accepting questionnaire submissions until 3/31) But even if you don't join us, I'd like to thank you for your kind words and support :))

Seems kinda strange that Sandor told Sansa about his face, since if he heard people talking about it he would kill them, so it seems like he would never voluntarily just tell someone the story. Also why did Robb refuse to trade Jaime for Arya and Sansa, the Lannisters definitely would have made the trade as Cersei, Tywin, and Tyrion all want Jaime back and Tywin wants him back because he still believes Jaime will inherit the Rock and Robb also wants his sisters back so why not trade and then continue the war cuz it sounds like "they killed my father" makes it so hostilities will cease after the trade. Or is it a point system where the sisters are not worth the same as Jaime in value to even trade?

He is such a beautiful, tragic character; everything that the poor man has been through starting at just 6 years old makes you want to just hold the poor man. In an epic, emotionally charged Sandor/Sansa fanfiction story I'm writing, I delve into his personal history and really tap into his internal monologue. I sincerely love writing his POV and most of my readers feel I've managed to portray him accurately compared to GRRM's scenes of him.

It suggests to me that someone is finally beginning to identify skinchanging, as opposed to warging direwolves, which we attribute to starks. Part of me asks"how does he even know he can, as opposed to the dogs and stranger." I would probably think the horse was skinchanging me. Until arya.

Another line that always hit me was Sandor telling Sansa that "Dogs can smell lies." I always thought that was a very strange thing for him to say, I believe that he has been warging all if his life and felt more kinship with dogs than he ever did with people, they gave him all of the tools he needed to survive among liars and sneaks.

@bridge4
@bridge4 5 жыл бұрын
It says 1 in 1000 are wargs, doesn't it? My take on the story is that 1000 out of 1000 could be. But since "all sorcery comes at a cost" only 1 out of 1000 do it But even 1 out of 1000 is a lotttt of people like you said. Very few realize they are wargs even though they are part of that 1 in 1000 That's a great point that I should've included. Thanks for sharing!

I have always thought of the Wolves representing the Starks. Such a strong natural connection. Like you said with little Rickon and Shaggydog. But also Nymeria with Arya. Nimerya had to leave, to go off on her own because of the Lannister’s; so did Arya. And as well as those examples, we also have the fact that Shaggydog, Summer and Robb’s Wolf all died. So did Rickon, Brann (now the three eyed Raven) and Robb. Which leads me to believe that Sansa will die, even though her Direwolf died so long ago.

During medieval europe it was estimated that the population during that era was around 78.7 million and this divided by 10 000 is 7 870 so that is a lot of people and Sandor could very well be the on amongst the 7 870 wargs considering his ancestors probably were Wargs

Sandor Clegane is one of my favorite characters in The Song of Ice and Fire series thus far (going off of the show up to halfway through season 6 and currently reading the first book) and it's wonderful to see him not only get more recognition as well as to find this out about him. This video is very well made, well voiced, and well thought out with a feasible argument put together to support the claim. If it isn't revealed in the stories later on to be the case, it would be a tragic loss creatively speaking. Based on how Martin worded it all so carefully, I'm sure he fully intends to make it happen. The man may be often known for his knack of killing off characters, but I feel his careful wording in order to elude to other occurrences, as well as building them up, is a truly great talent he possesses that not many people seem to give him credit for. The man knows how to build tension and instill anticipation in his audience/readers, there's no doubt about that! Great work on this video! :D

Treat a horse like a friend, and it will become your friend. You will develop a bond. That's not to say your horse will only need you. Horses need other horses to feel safe. It's a herd thing. But you can have a hell of a bond with a horse if you know how to treat them right, clean them, and scratch their itchy spots. It's obvious Sandor loves Stranger, and has a strong bond with him, and vice versa. I often wonder what became of the old boy. I haven't read the books yet.

Ok so you know the song the Ed Sheeran sings in Arya's scene? Well i'm not sure if you deciphered it but i think it's talking about Rhegar riding past Elia and going to Lyanna's side. Think about that and reread the lyrics: He rode through the streets of the city Down from his hill on high O'er the wynds and the steps and the cobble He rode to a woman's sigh For she was his secret treasure She was his shame and his bliss And a chain and a keep are nothing Compared to a woman's kiss

And that was one of your best vids ever, hard to deny that much canon, you nailed it. I always assume that he was really burned when he saw a vision and told his bully brother what he saw, so gregor pushed his face in a brazier...that a little female wolf would kill gregor. Idk for sure, but that long stare may have been him making sense of that vision or prophetic dream, which led to him saying"you know who's coming for u..." but that is just a tinfoil possibility. Or is it,lol.

Something jumped out to me in one of the book quotes in this video, not about worging but about the Hound wrapping Arya in a cloak at night, "[...] and he no longer bound her up in a cloak at night". Could be something, could be nothing, but peaked my interest after reading the bloody cloak theory recently! Future cloaks video? 🤔 Lots of interesting material I bet! "All cloaks are grey by night"...

bridge4 Yes, there's a big piece of work on it on the Pawn to Player: Rethinking Sansa website that's pretty cool, you should check it out. I'd never noticed the Hound cloak anyone else though, although with Arya it's more of an un-cloaking, like he starts to trust her so takes his cloak away. With Sansa, he doesn't trust those around her so he leaves his cloak, his protection, with her. I'm just speculating though... There's so many ways to interpret things! 😁😁

Kev another great video as always, but i have an idea to why Arya won’t die if she fights the night King, remember when she was training with Syrio, he asks her “ what do we say to the god of death, not today” and we never see her using that sentence through out the seasons, so i think if she ever gets a 1 on 1 with the night king i think she’ll be beaten at first and when it feels like she’s dying she’ll utter those words and gain enough strength to finish him (haven’t read the book)

bridge4 I thought so too after watching your video about the different colours of dragon-glass but in the end there may not be another choice, as you said the night king isn’t asking for help and he’s coming with an all-out kill or be killed war and we can see it in the scenes where john fought the white walkers maybe bran discovers all the truths hidden in Winterfell and sam discovers the healing traits of dragon-glass but it all may not play the way we want maybe in the end the only way to end the war and save the living would be to kill the night king

Kind of unrelated, but: in the sixth episode of the sixth season, there's a scene in the beginning where Bran has a lot of visions, but the visions keep coming back to 1) the White Walkers and 2) the Mad King screaming "burn them all", and finally there's simply fotage of the White Walkers while you hear "burn them all" in the background, which led me to believe that the Mad King knew about the White Walkers somehow - maybe he had visions - and was talking about them. Has anyone heard any theories about this? Or does it say anything about it in the books?
@SophiaR-xp4rk
@SophiaR-xp4rk 5 жыл бұрын
There is a theory that Bran made him ho crazy in first place: he wanted to change the past, wanted Aerys to use his wildfire against the others. Bran over and over whispers to burn them all, Aerys goes crazy, like it happened with hodor. To me, the hole in that plot is that a) Bran already knew Aerys was mad, thus not a reliable ally, b) Why should he use him? Because of the wildfire he had? But the others were hidden far north by then, c) It would be too similar to the whole Hodor arc.

Or maybe imagine a smaller loop. If he stunted Hodor by viewing his past and linking present "hold the door" to the past causing a seizure... Wonder if maybe Bran looks into Jaime's past to see the truth of the Kingslayers namesake, and hears Jaime in the present "he said burn them all.. Burn them all... " then the mad king begins screaming in sync, " burn them all.. ". Maybe he we more susceptible to the craziness because as a targaryen, he saw himself go mad.
