For me the best parts are obviously Chucky's reveal, because of how iconic the scene is, the scene with Charle's Voodoo Doctor, because of how impressive the animatronic is, and the end when Chucky dies, because of how unnerving that "Hi I'm Chucky wanna play" is.

Chucky was ultimately the reason some kids are either afraid of dolls or just simply don't like them. For others, these lovable toys are an extension of themselves, treating them as though they have souls. It's basically them having imaginary friends when there's no real ones around.

This was the very first Horror film I saw on VHS that my Dad recorded on HBO. This BATMAN 89 and GHOSTBUSTERS 2. This film scared the hell out of me! I hated this movie, but learned to love the crazy doll. Steven Spielberg, Joseph Reuben, Robert Altman, Jack Clayton, Robert Aldrich, Rocky Morton Annabelle Jenkell, Irvin Kershner, and Robert Wise were considered for the job of directing.

Chucky was my worst nightmare as a kid I've only seen glimpses of him when I was a kid and it was just his face and whenever I would hear him laughing even if I wasn't watching the movie it scared the s*** out of me. I have frequent nightmares of him chasing me around a bonfire and a house while people stood by and watched as I ran in slow motion while he chased me with a knife and I could not scream. I had to ask my mom to buy a dreamcatcher that I can put above my bed and mentally it helped

Its a notorious one this side of the pond as, whilst never officially banned, many retailers withdrew/refused to carry 3 (and the others by association), after contextual connections were drawn to a very high profile, real life murder case here in the UK...so it became very difficult to obtain physical copies for quite a few years after
