In the television edit, they added an alternate ending where part of his face gets added to the vat of molten plastic. After it was mixed in, the machines made a fresh new head, with no eyes, hair, our teeth. And it makes an evil grin.

This still shocks me to this day. I do hope that either towards the end of season 2 or start of season 3. They explain more of the book of spells and how it works. How chuckys soul is technically not at peace and he keeps getting powerful.

this is what happened in between the first and second basically...you can look it up: the company managed to shut up anyone who claimed the doll was evil or alive because it was hurting their business (not because they actually make evil dolls BTW)...because that was nonsense obviously to them. the only person who INSISTED it was true was andy and his mother (and she got put under psychiatric treatment) so andy was put in the foster system. the police detective shut up because he felt his reputation would be ruined if he claimed a doll was alive as for the deaths well...i think people just brushed that under the rug...typical police mentality. so yeah: mum is crazy, kid has PTSD...company did nothing wrong...that is the way the world sees it...and that is the way the company likes it 👍

This movie is the best Sequel in the franchise. Taking place 2 years after the events of first film, Andy Barclay our boy hero, is now in foster care since his mother is now institutionalized. Now the little plastic psychopath has returned to seek revenge against Andy and those who stand in his way won't he so lucky.

What I didn’t get about Kyle is even if she didn’t believe it was the doll, when Andy was tied up she knew it wasn’t those foster parents, he obviously didn’t tie himself up, there had to be someone else involved. She just ignored that and kept going.

I own all the Child's Play movies on DVD, except the newest one about the Buddi doll. My brother likes to watch them at least once every other month. I can pretty much quote them by now. A huge part of me wanted to see the basement scene start with Chucky in the same position he was left in, but seeing his eyes widen in horror and go "Oh shit" once he sees Andy packing that turkey carver before hiding. Maybe that would have been a bit too funny, but look what the Chucky series became. It was inevitable that a slasher with his personality would become part-comedy.

Bride and Seed are the worst two chuckys but the younger generation has hyped it up wayyyy to much. I enjoyed them but they’re not what people make them to be. For some reason Andy's acting went downhill in this one.. it's weird cause he was fantastic when he was a couple years younger lol. But I guess because of how successful he was in the first movie he fell in the "idc I'm cool now" performance, like Macauley Culkin in Home Alone 2 basically.
