i think we are to assume it has more to do with her family's status as being 'new money' and lower class than everyone else bc if i recall correctly there is no mention of her weight in the books. also she's literally TINY especially compared to him, it would really uncool if netflix were to change it to be about her weight or appearance. i think it's a combo of her family's reputation and her being a shy 'wallflower'

I'm not a bridgerton watcher but am aware of what happened on the other 3 installments in the universe. This is actually the first time where I'm ACTUALLY interested in watching a whole season! Fun reaction and I can't wait to see your Shardlake reaction as well!
