I think Frannie is having a wedding pretty early in the season, too. All of the photos of her go quickly from debutant, to well dressed adult with other women surrounding her looking like they are congratulating her. I haven't read the books, but her love story is her second marriage, right?

I think the interview with Nicola in the dress and red, red lips is from the end of the season. I think it’s from after they got together, and perhaps even after they got married. Pen feels confident enough in her relationship, a very passionate relationship, that she is bold in her lipstick. And I believe that dress is perhaps a dark Bridgerton blue?

I agree that Penelope and the Danbury we see in Queen Charlotte are very different. However Danbury does have a scene with young Simon where she delivers a monologue that is a direct parallel to Pen's journey this season and even includes a reference to "Out of the shadows and Into the Light": “When I was a girl, some centuries ago, I was afraid even of my own reflection. I entered a room and attempted to dissolve into the shadows... I knew I would have to step into the light someday and I could not very well be frightened..." If the theories are correct and Marcus Anderson is a relative of Agatha, I suspect we'll be learning more about her backstory from before we see her in Queen Charlotte. Maybe Marcus is to Agatha what Prudence/Philippa are to Penelope.

The new look of Colin strutting in the park (the one where you said we haven't seen this look before and you love his hair) is the same look when he says to Penelope "Your happiness matters a lot" from Netflix Latin America/ Brasil clip. Since that was a close-up scene, his hair looked straighter, and hence you said that you don't like this hairstyle.

The makeup might look heavy in these interviews, but it won't look that way in the show. All the actors are made up for filming so that their features stand out under those heavy lights and the show cameras, similarly to how heavy stage makeup is. You can see it with Pen's look for the Innovations ball, which we first saw in that long, long ago filming announcement video. It looked like a little much, but once we saw that same look in the trailer, it looks much more natural.

I’m so happy to hear I’m not the only one who thought the wink was unattractive LOL, like I outright LAUGHED when it happened then cringed like “oh god in front of the queen? NEAR YOUR MAMA?!” It gives the facade that he’s “grown up” from a charming young lad to another roguish Bridgerton Boy, but it just doesn’t suit his character imo. So, I’ve been trying to figure out where the Queen Charlotte timeline fits in the Bridgerton timeline and SPOILERS!! (sorta kinda, if you’re not on Bridgerton reddit, and they’re not always in the right nor in the know) We’ve heard that allegedly Anthony and Kate head off to their honeymoon after episode 1. And in Queen Charlotte, Violet speaks of Anthony already being off on their honeymoon. So that means that Queen Charlotte episode (I think it’s episode 5) takes place after episode one by the least. What’s interesting is that she seems to be busy with worrying about her own children’s love lives while also worrying about the love life of whoever she is naming the Diamond/Emerald of the season. Also, it means Pen was very busy with her LW issue during this season. I wonder if they’ll reference some queen charlotte timeline things in the LW issues read in Bridgerton as a sort of easter egg for those who watched it?

Oh yeah I’m almost 100% sure Marcus is the one who was getting Violet’s garden to bloom in Queen Charlotte 😂, plus Violet did tell Lady Danbury she’s upset about “whatever is going on between Eloise and Penelope” in Queen Charlotte, so I think Queen Charlotte takes place during the off-season. In the scene where Pen tells Collin “oh yes I heard you last season at my mama’s ball” means there was an off season between S1 & S2, which, to me, is when the “current” Queen Charlotte storyline occurred. Of course I could be very wrong lol

I actually think Colin was more attractive in earlier seasons. Something is weird about his face, now. He looks older, somehow. I think his new clothes and attitude make him look less attractive than he did in his more baby-faced, more "plainly" dressed earlier seasons. I think my problem is that I want to see regular Colin fall in love with Pen, not a different, sexed-up version of him.

Tbh I really dislike some of the makeup of the female characters, way too darks and heavy. Even some of the costumes and hairstyles (like for Kate at the seasons themed ball or Lady Tilley Arnold in general) are sometimes way too modern
