I think part 1 is amazing -love the chemistry between Nicola Coughlan & Luke Newton-they are great together-the romantic scenes are so much better than a wham bam thank you ma'am type-also I wanted to shout out to Claudia Jesse for the portrayal of Eloise's backing of Penelope even though the conflict is probably killing her inside-she is not trying to hurt her deliberately-good job everyone❤❤❤❤

I watched Queen Charlotte yesterday and I you can sue me for saying this but I liked it better than Bridgerton Universe. It had so much depth, emotions with great acting, dialogues and set. I absolutely devoured Violet, Agatha and Charlotte's story and George's POV had me. Last 2 episodes completely wrecked me, I completed at 3 AM and was sobbing for 30 minutes straights, woke up with swollen eyes. Also, season 3 is good too. Pen and Colin were my fav in the books so you bet I was waiting for them from the first season itself.

No one is suing you, but I think why you loved or maybe some other people loved the queen Charlotte more than the Bridgerton is coz that show had limited characters, I mean in that show they literally focused mainly on just a few characters stories throughout the 8 episodes where in Bridgerton there are so many characters and so many stories unfolding at the same time, that's why I think in queen Charlotte every character got a lot of screen time and it was really good. Personally I loved both, infact season 3 just added more characters into the show, so it's a huge responsibility to portray every character's story responsibly, although i do hope that part 2 of season 3 would be more focused on the main leads rather than other characters. I don't want to see Francesca's or Benedict's story in between polin's, it will become a rush or a chaos.

I agree about season 3 though, I don't know where they are going by stretching Mondrich's story this far. Also I am pretty sure with the trp and pr this show is getting they will definitely bring more seasons so imo they shouldn't have shown so much of Fransesca in season 3. But I have a feeling that part 2 might redeem that.

@@Aadyy-te3gn I hope that too and I agree, I am not sure why they are exactly stretching their story , I mean the audience is certainly more interested in the other characters , personally I would prefer Cressida or prudence or philipa's story over mondrich's. May be they just wanna show some kinda revolutionary thing with them of that era that he kept his club even after becoming a noble person. Who knows? I can't wait for part 2.

The way they all gush about the show... those spoilers/rumors about part 2 better not be true. Still not understanding why they keep calling this season so romantic. There's been absolutely no romance for Polin and yet we already have a proposal.

@channonmock Well, so far we've gotten swagger fake Colin, threesmes, brooding, and then suddenly they were in the carriage. The carriage was great because of their chemistry, but there was no lead-up to that. Nothing romantic. We needed much more Polin and got hardly any. They barely even talked to each other.

well its interesting how i have completely the opposite opinion to yours and genuinely thought this season was indeed the most romantic out of them all 😭 you see personally, i thought the show really had a different tone this time, and instead of the loud and statement acting/dialogue leading up (which dont get me wrong thats been good in previous seasons especially bcs it was done by great actors) but for polin.. it simply all was in the micro expressions, reactions, glances and realization moments that been also building between the 2 throughout all these years! but only grew stronger and more visible during this season was just peak wholesomeness for me 🥺 and the reason why i love it so much so far 💚💚 i do however agree with the idea that the season kinda had too many subplots tho..

@sunflowerangelnctzen I will forever be bitter about what they've done to Colin's character this season. He's been my favorite since the beginning and I'm very upset about part 1 for so many reasons. This isn't me bashing the acting though. Luke is incredible. And (I feel) Polin needed and deserved more leading up to that proposal.

I can't help but agree with you. I felt it was rushed and wished they're left the carriage scene on moremof.a cliffhanger and without the proposal, but that could be the first moment of part 2.
