What a disaster. First attach the top Then UNFOLD the flag with the 3 MAN team holding jt so that the wind, if any, will catch it. Then attach the end to the halyard. Then when everyone is ready one person says HOIST and the flag is quickly hauled to the top of the flagpole. Then it is hauled back 2 or 3 inches and secured with figure of eight turns to the cleat, securing the last turn with a back hitch.
