Bridlington is a seaside town I've been visiting since I was young for my holidays or day trips. It has pretty much everything you want for a happy seaside holiday from big sandy beaches, amusement arcades and funfair rides, to boat trips from the harbour out to sea, and of course hotels, B&B's and seaside fish and chips!
In this Bridlington video we take a walk along the seafront and beach and try to include as much as possible including the Bridlington Forum, walking down the promenade and esplanade and passing places like Treasure Island Amusements, the Promenade Amusement Park, Treasure Island golf and more.
We will see Bayside Fun Park and Royal Princes Parade as well as Garrison Street, Prince Street, North Pier and Harbour Road as well as others.
We visit Bridlington Harbour for a look at the boat trips and boat rides as well as the fishing boats there. We'll walk through Bridlington Town Centre and walk down South Cliff Road and Gummers Wharf as well as The Spa Promenade where we see the famous Bridlington Spa.
Bridlington South Beach is a wide sandy beach and we end our walk here looking at the sea lapping up on the shore.
A holiday in Bridlington can be fantastic if you know where to head so hopefully this walking tour really helps you make your decisions and shows you what the seaside town is like.

Bridlington is a traditional seaside town that doesn't have many actual tourist attractions to see if you travel to here for a holiday. It's not that kind of place. But instead you'll get a very traditional seaside holiday, with boat trips, candy floss and rock, boat trips and time on the sandy beaches. Bliss!
Other popular seaside towns near Bridlington include Flamborough, Sewerby, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby as well as Hornsea and Skipsea to the south.

Visited 1965,young teens on our motorcycles.Slept in the shelter somewhere near Queen St,frozen stiff through the night,waiting for the shops to open early next morning,great bacon & egg sandwiches.That was either Easter or Whit.Returned August,this time stayed in a flat above a shop in Cliffe St,parked our bikes round the back,remember chatting to two girls who lived in a large terrace house opposite,Susan & Zoe.Remember dancing in the Spa all night long to the Troggs.Mod & rocker era,but never any trouble.Great time,great place to be a teenager.

'Oh how I miss Bridlington. My nana took me and my sister every yr and it was so magical with the promenade gardens, crazy golf, radio controlled boats and souvenir shops selling beach conch and shells galore. I still have vivid dreams about my hols with my sister and nana. I used to marvel at the B&B buildings in their white painted fronts and the harbour with all the fishing vessels lying on their sides if they didn't go out. We used go walk all the way up to Flamborough Head in the rock pools investigating sea life. It was just magical for me and my sister. I haven't been back for a long time but I miss it to bottom of my core. I want to retire there in many yrs time.

Lovely to watch this,especially on a lovely sunny day,been coming to brid for hols since our son was 18 months old ,we come for 2 weeks,he turns 17 this aug,due to covid ,lock down etc we havnt been able to come and had our holiday postphoned ,but were back to brid this year in august ,it will be my 50th birthday ,our 10th wedding anniversary (we got married in brid while on holiday in 2012,at bridlington register office, and also our sons birthday, watching this has been lovely ,alot has changed since we were last there ,but all our old favourites are still there too thanku

Wow, you really picked a fantastically sunny day to film in Brid. I hope the weather stays like that when we go to visit next time. I reckon fish and chips, the land train and the Greek gyros van will be three things I'll have on my To Do list! I would have probably cut out the bit where you came across the dead seagull if I was being honest, it was a bit of a sad ending to the video. Other than that, it was a brilliant walking video and I've now subscribed to your channel.

Just love Brid ,would move there tomorrow if i could , couple of little pointers not criticisms at all, firstly the Greek street food van is really worth trying the food is ace ,second if the slaughtered seagull bar is open pop in for a cool drink ,well you sit outside,very nice place and lastly i think the north beach is much nicer than the south beach always looks cleaner even though it can get busy in mid season ,anyways thanks for the video cant wait for september when i go on the puffin trail .brilliant as always .

i love bridlington not as much as scarborough but if you want to just have fish and chips and a nice walk on the beach then bridlington is a great choice and scarborough is about 30 minutes up the road so you could go to both

Poor Bridlington north of the harbour. Used to be lawns, flower beds and wooden benches. Now dirty, smelly and noisy fun for the kiddies. You choose!
