I sure think the Ball might be my next piece. Great job, Armand, keep them coming! I NEVER fail to learn from you.

Excellently done & very informative thanks! Love the Sinn but the Ball at the end “very cool” I reckon 👍 Cheers!

An excellent treatment of a technical issue of watches that usually gets overlooked. We all know about water resistance, but this helped a great deal. I suggest you do the same thing for shock resistance. This is another under discussed technical area. I just ordered a Sinn EZM 5 SDR because of the tremendous group of properties possessed by this watch. I have found German watches often have the best combination of properties at an affordable price. Great video, more like this please.

Un grand merci pour la vidéo ! Par contre, vous pensez qu'on pourrait incluire aussi le Jaeger le-Coultre Geophysic?

Great video, a very interesting subject choice. In terms of favourites I'd have to pick the Railmaster, somewhat under the radar when first released I think it will become more appreciated in the future.. it has such a clean and classic aesthetic.

If i owned that Ball Magneto S, i think i would spend more time looking at the photographic style shutter on the case back than the dial.

I did not know about the Ball engineer watch. Previously, I had not been impressed by Ball and would not have given them a second thought, but I gotta say, this watch looks pretty nice. Gonna try to find a used one now. Thanks for this video! Subscribed.

very informative as usual. thanks for this video! all very good choices, but the last choice, Ball, was perhaps maybe the coolest one with the ability to open/close the aperture in the case back. But, if I'm not mistaken, I think nearly all Ball watches are designed with a very high above average degree of anti-magnetism.

Great as always Armand. The Railmaster will have a brushed blue dial added to the lineup soon. As mentioned, the Milgauss could do with a refresh, not sure why it doesn’t appeal to me, colours, price obviously, compared to others reviewed.

Powermatic 80 is without regulator as ETA 2824 , which makes it more precise, also it’s made out of ARCAP, alloy, nickel , zinc- very anti magnetic materials. Mido ocean star captain, titanium case and bracelet is your best choice
@marc66526 жыл бұрын
Antimagnetic's importance is very often largely underestimated, to the extent that no one was able to tell me the resistance of the Rolex Explorer, even in a Rolex specialist shop. I was also interested by a Grand Seiko, but the antimagnetic performance is only 60 Gauss. Too bad. So I'll probably bye an Omega seamaster 300.

Hey there! I am a fan of your channel. I’m in the market for an antimagnetic dive watch myself at the moment. I believe the Sinn U1 is only antimagnetic to 4800 A/m (~60 Gauss) based on my research. Unfortunately, not to 1000 gauss. That is the reason I haven’t already picked up a U1. I am still looking for the perfect diver for me. Please feel free to correct me. (I’d only be happy)

@DJogdog6 жыл бұрын
It has a bezel, it just doesn't rotate.

+Art Ponce: I must admit that, if Rolex released a Milagauss with the modern 40mm case, brushed silver-white dial, 1019 hands and a rotating bezel, I would buy one immediately.
@tomroman74556 жыл бұрын
Interesting. I'd like to see a mock-up of what that may look like. I have a Milgauss, 'pumpkin' as ATWG said, and I think it fits nicely between dress & sport. At 40mm I think a bezel may make it appear too big for my liking plus it would tip it more towards the sporty side. I really like it as is, but I can see the benefit to a bezel.

Perfect idea to show posters. I am sad to inform you that neither my wardrobe nor my financial means allow my participation on the next trip of the Flying Scotsman. What i really like is the inspiration the 50ies took from 1 the Jugendstil with all its variations but 2 also from the brutalist work of the fascists and stalinists :) Have fun times.

Omega is at the every end of the argument today. The 15,000 gauss is 10 times what the Rolex is tested at! Who cares about finish, power reserve, or anything else when the topic is magnetism? The Longines Record is also Si14 technology. It is quite curious that neither Tissot nor Longines will advertise the amagnetic limits or testing. Both are Swatch Group.
