Haha crazy, brings back good memories. I've done this part twice now, but raw video without music just makes it looks really insane again!

Thanks for video, yours has the longest focus on the most dangerous part. Its even longer then I expected. I studied all hardergrat video's and came to conclusion that this part is not form me, but i still wanna enjoy the hardergrat, the inbetween solution is Brienzer rothorn climb and take the path as far as its safe to Tannhorn and back. Then early morning Harder Kulm climb, hardergrat, always to Augstmatthorn, continue to Schnierenhireli, then Allgauw Licka gap, two option, climb Tannhorn (this side seems waay safer, though daunting with estimate climb of 500 meters, 300 elevation but another 200 with the two mini hills inbetween (Allgauwhoren). If to tired straight drop off to Ebligen.

thats good. I was there ant also noticed its was not for me. it looks so easy in this video but if you are there and on both side it goes down for a few hunderts meter you have to be very expierienced with the height

@dbrawi9413 Жыл бұрын

@sandor752 жыл бұрын

Is this a blue trail section? Hard to believe is red trail.
@rolfspuler1056 Жыл бұрын
Yes. It's a blue trail. T4 with some short passage T5.

I think that's the part where there is no official trail. Official trail start a bit further.

There is no official trail between Augstmatthorn and almost before Brienzer-Rothorn (i.e. there is a trail on the Swiss topo map, but it's not marked either yellow, red or blue). Cables also look quite new in the video (I think before there were no cables). I really want do this hike end-to-end (only did Lombachalp - Augstmatthorn - Harder Kulm so far), but Tannhorn section terrifies me (and I don't even have a vertigo or fear of heights)

@@halflink From Augstmatthorn there is a marked section a bit further... has been marked some years ago, I guess. But not over Tannhorn. And yes, it could be that some of the rope was missing some years ago. But it's really only the part where the ridge is extremely narrow.
