Brigadier Jerry brother Jeremiah is a "WORLD CLASS" DJ. I joined the organ I believe after Briggi's departure BUT "MIAH" was just as good. I couldn't wait for him to take the mike and start the Orthodox selections and then move into the reasoning and cultural teachings through dj styles. I must say that Miah was very instrumental in my upbringing ( knowledge gained) at the Twelve Tribes. His knowledge of the bible and how he imparted through a dj style was phenomenal, I couldn't get enough of his brilliance, truly a man in charge and put in charged by the ALMIGHTY. Even after I departed the Twelve due to a marriage I still delve into what I was taught there and I always remember MIAH'S teachings and humour, there was never a DULL MOMENT when Jeremiah had the mike wherever the Organization had an engagement. I must also say there were other operators(dj's) around the sound and elders who were inspirational and who taught me a lot that I still used to this day to navigate babylon.

First time Jah Love and Brigadier came to St. Ann's Bay I was there at Spear Garvey lawn. Saturday night and I had to get home before daylight Sunday for church. My parents did not miss me that night. Cops showed up and Brigadier did a lyrics saying 'real cool officer nu bad man nu in ya'. General you are still the best.

Briggy, I think the reason why the Twelve Tribe didn't get anywhere in the music buiness was because they wanted to control the artists. Don't forget that there were many artists in that organization. All things work together for good. The artist going solo or independently was the best at the time. You had you and Nancy, Judy Mowat, Tommy Cowan, Jacob Miller, and all those artist and a lot of other artists.

Original Brigadier! Nice. Bigger Brother of Mumma Nancy for those who don’t know. During the 80’s and 90’s we used to get live dancehall cassettes and the VERY best were the ones from sounds like Downbeat featuring Brigadier and Josey Wales. This was back when there was not a million sounds playing dubplates. Great interview. Brings back memories. I’m really interested in the gun charge though! I hope we get to that! I’ve always wondered what’s become of that! 🍿 ✊🏿
