I admire briggs and Stratton,best quality engine...

Trust me it's running good right now when you start to run a load on it and having the water you're going to burn it up leave the Rev eliminator on there; that's the way it was designed

You weren't kidding, can feel the vibrations thru the computer screen ha!Sounds like it's running well though anyway. Don't see those on the water often.

The lower unit seems like it barely has any gear reduction so it shifts really hard even when idled all the way down. The prop also looks like a portable fan.

I've seen people run a conduit pipe off engine so it exhausts underwater. It quiets them down alot.

What speeds did you get on my 1232 I get 8-10 but still working on motor
@curtbennett8402 Жыл бұрын
I have a question for you. I have the same motor with only four hours on it I bought. But it tells me it’s only a freshwater engine, not a salt water I put on to the sinks, but do you think you’ll be an issue to go in salt water as I rinse off afterwards.
@tylerott9269 Жыл бұрын
It is an air cooled engine so it shouldn’t need to get flushed after running. Just hose it off to clean of any salt residue
@curtbennett8402 Жыл бұрын
@@tylerott9269 but do you think it’s safer for salt water? If I keep it clean after I use it
@tylerott9269 Жыл бұрын
@@curtbennett8402 the only concern I have is that there is a lot of steel on the engine that will rust badly in a salty environment. There is no water circulating through the engine so you don’t have to flush it.

Does it have B&G'$ infamous PLASTIC timing gears??? I've had to toss 2 perfectly good generators because of their stupid plastic timing gears.

@Oxfire959653 ай бұрын
She might be slow but she gets the job done but that Reverend eliminator is going to keep you from blowing that motor when you run a load on it in other words when it's in the water pushing all that weight that's a load I will keep that River eliminator on there
