Briggs and stratton broken connecting rod(asmr)

Found a older engine and swapped parts to make a running engine.

Those quick disconnect oil drains are prone to failure and leakage. One cost me a piston and rod kit on a new engine. I replace them with pipe plugs (remove fitting from crankcase then match up at hardware store). A few cents can save an engine and the old Briggs used pipe plugs for MANY decades.

Ur lucky the sump n block are ok.. usually pieces hit cam bend it and crack the aluminum block
