Vid is nice , gives a lot of positive energy. What a lovely day, I love Penn state. To the subject , Briggs is pretty expansive pleasure. Would you so kind and show how it starts and runs under the really small AC unit (at least 5000 btu). Thnx.

I rented this one from Home Depot because I wanted a dedicated generator to run the air blower and lighting for my outdoor movie screen. The B & S is bigger, louder and heavier than my Honda EU2000, but not bad for the price. I would still rather have a Yamaha or a Honda.

This generator seems to perform admirably. There is no bogging, like on the other generators. Do you know if this is made in the usa. Good review, good technique.

what is the service life of the engine? They write that there are no cast iron sleeves on it!

@JohnLolasDad I made a video (and will post tomorrow) of this P2000 failing / overload with starting a Makita 12" chopbox saw. The generator WILL NOT run the saw.

1738 Views and only one comment?. What is the possibility of having a test of the P2000 with a miter saw or a table saw?. a 1500 watt heater does not require anymore than 1500 watts to start where as a saw would require more startup amps than the saw takes running.

Typical Brigs & Stratton....noisey. wouldn't want to take it camping. Id rather pay more for a Honda or even a harbor freight preditor, to get something that doesn't sound like a lawn mower. Doesnt out way the cost savings when you end up buying hearing aids after a week of listening to that. Get what you pay for.
