ABOUT THE GENERATOR
Designed with camping and tailgating in mind, this inverter generator is quiet, lightweight and efficient to easily enjoy the little conveniences of home anywhere you are. With inverter technology, it produces smoother power for sensitive electronics such as laptops, phones and gaming systems. Automatically adjusts the engine speed further reducing noise, fuel consumption and emissions. At 59dB operating volume, it's quieter than a normal conversation, so it blends into the background of social situations. A convenient control panel includes three outlets (one DC and two household) and a USB adapter, offering enough flexibility to power an extensive combination of lights, music, TVs, crock-pots, blenders, personal electronics and more. An H-handle design lets one person easily move the light generator when needed or also allows two people to conveniently share the load. A lightweight design and quiet generator operation makes this the best backup power solution for tailgating, camping and outdoor recreation.

I picked one up for $250. They have a 3 year warranty so I’m happy.

@@joemalcom7029 I did, I actually carried it home on my scooter, with it sticking out over the sides as it was still in it's box. I didn't go to to the store to get it or I would have taken the car, I just needed some small thing but it was in the same aisle with a clearance sticker. I haven't even taken it out of the box yet, just got it for 'just in case'.

Any generator should be OK for electronics. To begin with, most electronics run on DC anyway. Stereos, computers, laptops, cell phones and LED lighting all run off of DC. The power supply of these things, whether they be external bricks or internal power supplies convert AC into DC. This is done with diodes and it's called rectification. This is MUCH, MUCH cheaper and easier to do than the other way around. But second, generators spin a magnetized rotor inside a stator and so the power generated is AC and not DC. The AC coming out of a generator head should be pretty clean.

Mine did too. What I did was put in a kill swith so when I turn it off it will run all the gas out the carb. Now It cranks and runs fine. But I do think it runs rich maybe for higher altitudes.

@@chrisdodson2917 a little more info please. Is it a fuel shut off valve or some type of switch. I found your explanation confusing. This seems to be a more common problem than you think!
