@briggsyfishing I am watching your videos from oldest to newest for the most part. As a teacher who taught for 25 years, I have to tell you, Not only do you entertain with your fishing and the gorgeous locations you show us in Australia, but also, you are a naturally gifted teacher/educator. The patience you show with your children and with Ochre as you teach them everything about how to read the landscape, the water and currents, how to handle the fishing gear while fishing.....just everything- it's just fantastic to watch. I know most youtubers are trying to get the perfect shot, constantly thinking about how the next upload is going to get more subscribers. But in the videos I've watched recently, not only does your love of fishing shine through, but also the love you have for your kids, for Ochre, for your family shines even brighter. You are thinking about what fishing is all about....passing on your knowledge so others learn to love fishing as well. I grew up fishing in a pond in Alabama, US. My grandparents and parents taught me to love fishing. But you have taught me so much beyond fishing in a pond. And I bet lots of people have similar stories and now see you as their fishing 'mentour' As one of my first principals told me, you have the rare ability of being a natural teacher. It's just IN you. I hope you continue to do videos of smaller trips with your family as well as your short teaching videos. You could have a separate channel- Briggsy's Fishing Tips and Tricks. Sorry it's so long. Lastly, I just have to talk about your tattoos. I just love you have so many your kids drew. I think that's fantastic! Now I just have to find my fishing buddy!😂😂😂😂

I sure love watching your videos Briggsy! Australia is my #1 fishing destination to fish at in the next few years! I live in Florida now and the fishing is insane But the variety of fish and their incredible colors are just breathtaking! I will get over there in the next few years! One of my goals is to get a GT off the rocks on my fly rod! Keep up the amazing videos and it was such a treat to finally get all the Morning Tide boys together again!

So excited over catching little tuskies and cod Matt must be thinking your high on something 😂. Your light setup is heavier than my heavy stuff! Its totally different fishing in qld to vic, here you can let fish take 100m of line no issues there you let them take 20m and they reef you or the grey suits show up 🙈.

Thanks heaps for the support Kathy, I'm stoked you're liking the films so much and your comments about teaching means a lot to me! Good idea about the separate channel, I sometimes worry those tips films are boring to my regular viewers so having a separate channel maybe the go!
@kathys7283
@kathys7283 Жыл бұрын
@@Briggsy Truly, I bet parents in your area would pay you good money to teach their kids......maybe up to 5 at a time......and you could have someone else videoing on top of your regular cameras. You could start with kids-and adults- who know nothing at all about fishing...... Briggsy's Fishing Basics..... and teach them from the ground up..... that would be an amazing channel because there's nothing like that out there. Heck, I taught video editing to gifted kids, and I'd help you edit for free when you get overloaded. I really think that most of your subscribers would subscribe--you could hit up your local school system with handouts for kids..... There is SO much you could do with this. I am very serious about free help if you decide to do this because I know you could make a channel like this work!! Regardless, thanks for sharing your fishing- especially the varieties. And I love the different places I've gotten to go to through your videos!! The coral island may be the most gorgeous place ever......how crazy that must have been!!!!
