Been a fan for 15 years now and seen them at the Opry House back in 2011, it was the best concert I've _EVER_ been to. Thank God Conor is still going the new remixes are so beautiful! Thank you Conor and everyone who has played with Bright Eyes for the music, you are all a godsend!

Saw them at the Detroit show. Conor had to restart pan and broom and sti forgot a verse. He fell offstage too. Hense the brace on his wrist. He was very, very drunk in a sad way. It was a great show and the man performed but he needs help because I want to see him again.

@@fattmusiek5452 I agree with Bevie. Also, a great aspect of Bright Eyes is they have a lyrical/vocal core and the music is flexible around them. I'd also recommend "Digital Ash In a Digital Urn" for a more electronic sound and "Lifted or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground" for a series of diverse, but awesome songs.

Yeah, I was thinking the same- since I’m so used to seeing Conor with a guitar on. I noticed he had a a wristband on his left hand- so I hope he is ok, and not dealing with any injury/I spent 3 basically crippled from bilateral tendinitis, so I am hoping he is just fine. This performance was absolutely rad and one of the best performances that ive seen Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst. Incredible energy, and a perfect song choice. So good

Conor is a rough around the edges kinda guy, he’s no saint and is very open with his mental health and substance abuse struggles but he’s real and such a poetic lyricist it’s insane! You need to check out all of his musical projects, it’s a lot but take your time. Some of their songs have changed my life!

So much good Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst music. Started listening when I was in like 6th grade and I’m nearly 30 now. A personal favorite of mine is his ‘Ruminations’ album. Super raw and intimate songwriting. He re-recorded the same songs and more with fuller arrangements on the studio album ‘Salutations’.
