Nice review! You’ll see with Conor’s lyrics, you’ll have a favorite lyric until you get to the next song then you’ll have a new favorite.

Hell of a song to review after going through some life stuffs. Glad you pulled yourself through it. I can say that Bright Eyes has efficiently gotten me through every downfall in my life and I couldn't be more appreciative to see you discover this banger.

Thank you so much for this reaction, what a great reaction! I am so, so excited for the discography listen! It’s amazing that you’re going all the way back to A Collection Of Songs - I think Conor Oberst was still in high school when that came out. Gotta admit I have trouble getting into their really early stuff personally, but I think it’s really cool to hear this band grow and progress so much over time. Hope you continue to feel better!

@My Melancholy Snooze93 Agreed 😊 I think they hit their stride with Fevers and Mirrors and just continued to get better and better. Digital Ash will always be my favorite though haha

Listen to "A Celebration Upon Completion" imo best song on the first album.

aaaa glad that you are putting your health first, please don't stress yourself out with these videos if you aren't feeling well. Yeah this song is awesome, I really enjoyed hearing your interpretation of the "Packing my bags when I really wanna stay" line, I hadn't thought of it that way but it absolutely lines up with various lyrics of other songs, even on Digital Ash there's a line where Conor is calling himself a hypocrite for wanting to live, so I think you are onto something with that reading! Very excited to see what you think of Collection of Songs! It's a wild and very rough ride haha, but I do still hold some of the tracks very dear.

More Bright Eyes! Next to no one reacts to one of the richest music catalogues in existence (at least the first 6+)

Amy in the White Coat is an older, deeply dark song worth listening to. May be the darkest song I've ever heard.
