I predict a large influx of players on release looking for that first time Runescape feel, that will quickly dwindle as people go back to osrs when they don't find it. As for new players to these kinds of mmos, having an open world that consists primarily of small instances will likely feel dated when compared to most mmos. However, I do believe Brighter Shores could be a popular mobile game. The smaller instance based world could allow for higher graphical fidelity than RuneScape on mobile, as well as providing a simpler gameplay loop for such devices. The world grid design would likely also be better received there. Even though I am sceptical, I do hope that Brighter Shores will surprise me

@@SelfishGamers because i tend to be very unforgiving. they false banned me for botting, nevermind that i dont know how to use those things and dont want to know, never fooled with them, every xp i got in that game was ME, either earned or given by the genie, or in some quest, every item i picked in the bank i earned or picked up, same with every gold coin, or was given to me by another player. i appealed and it was denied out of hand, i tried multiple times to reach a damn jmod and never got one that cared enough to look anything, its always "i cant help you its not my department, go to a nonexistant support site that wont do anything", or "im too lazy to look into it, ill just say you did what was accused and twiddle my thumbs". if they cant provide real customer service, or even a little transparency, such as something more than "moderator comment" so an appeal isnt hamstrung out of the gate, then they all need to be fired, if the company shuts down it wouldnt hurt my feelings a bit. incompetent damn jmods.

Nah, I've been with osrs on and off for 20 years. I'm not leaving to try another game I know I wouldn't enjoy, even if it is created by Andrew Gower.

This man set the main foundation for the game we love called RuneScape. Everything today is built off his ideas and his work, I believe he'll impress us again and I'm willing to give him my time after years of childhood memories he's given me.
