These would be great if they weren’t probably $300 overpriced. For the tech that you get, $400-$500 would be good, then any added accessories like the boomerang being $600-$700 makes sense. But having these be $1100 with added boomerang would make them more expensive than anything I’ve even added to the truck yet. That’s absurd

Who would spend $700 for headlights on a 20 year old truck. I’ve got a project Ram 1500 I’m looking to restore and I replaced the fuels pump, battery, and alternator for about 25% of what these headlights cost. And that is what made the truck RUN!

I want to get these for my ram, but I’ve seen the 6k and it has a little bit too much of a blue-ish tint for me can you guys make them in a 5000k or 5500k? I’ve noticed that with 5000k and 6000k with the same ballast wattage the warmer color will put perform the “whiter” color. Turns out our eyes can see a broader color spectrum when closer to 5k which enables us to see more than a blue-ish white.

Damn thought I found the headlights I wanted for 150 and I was skeptical as hell about em. Wanted to know if the xenon hid+ was worth it and then I see two videos on these headlights being the best ones for a second gen guess I’m going to save up because what I have now seems fine in town like what they showed in this video. But as soon as I take it on a backroad or out on the highway at night can’t see a fucken thing. Like my headlights are off and I’m just running fogs or some shit. And no I don’t have fog lights installed yet just got the truck. And high beams cut off the headlights after a few minutes something to do with the relay overheating from the aftermarket shit the truck came with. Not about to buy headlights Twice. There is another video that shows how these are on backroads with no other lights around. By far the brightest shit I’ve seen. Even for some newer cars.

​@wiilp4621 no I ended up getting the spyder headlights from Amazon. Those are way better than what I had and I'd argue a lot better than stock as far as total light output. But they have the same problem that all projector headlights do. Which is they don't light up street signs on the low beam when adjusted properly. And the spyder headlights specifically I noticed when you toggle the high beam on you lose low beam/projectors like the projectors just shut off entirely so... but they use the factory high beam bulb for high anyway so its not to big of an issue.

Are they easy to install or do I need to take truck to a professional to get installation?

Super easy!! There are just 3 10mm bolts holding in the headlight assembly on your truck. Then after that all you have to do is pull the assemblies out meticulously and be careful of the wiring on the headlight bulb and turn signal. After that just reverse the process and connect the wire for the DRL if you ordered the boomerang add-on. Connect the black wire to a bare piece of metal on your truck and the red wire to the running light/turn signal wire. After that everything should work just fine.
