I’m getting vibes from this. It’s like, “Accept yourself for who you are, if others hate you, tune them out. Go off what you where born with, and find a way to make it an advantage to you.” Although this is probably not this video’s intent to be this way, I found that Fern seems that way. It’s mostly because of the end of the animation, where other characters like him/her walk up to them, looking at the vine on they’re arm, and realizing that there are others, just like them. “We are all unique, in our own special way.”

@Cerese From what I could observe so far, Brighttail seems the most positive of the three, in addition to not presenting any anomaly in his body (the television on his back and the light bulb do not count, since he did not suffer when obtaining them, I think .. ' ) However, Brightgoat confirmed that little by little his personality changed, also in other publications it was revealed to us how he had murdered other ... creatures, well, blood was seen, but what does seem to be true is that he would become more aggressive ( in addition to what we could see in Two time of course .....)

I LOVE the way you so clearly portrayed the feeling of something being ever so slightly wrong at the end- they were happy, together, but it wasnt.. right? The creator from the jabberwocky animation is showing up, we're getting a happy ending but its not..? At 0:45, the "protagonist", brighttail flashes into a combination of the creator and almaz? Implying that almaz is not seperate from the story that the creator is making? And fern responds! This isnt just a contrast, fern is concerned for brighttail, meaning this actually happened?? Or is fern just seeing the creator in brighttail? Is it beause brighttail is a part of the creators story, or is it just a similar yet different kind of contrast! Whos there at 0:59, the three eyes are symbolsim seen before, but never really humanoid figures? Are they helping the creator destory words? Not to mention 1:24 Since the two worlds are confirmed to be together, does that mean that the mantis guy is a threat to the rest of them too? And when he first shows up at 0:35, parade is protrayed in a villanous light, seeming to stand by while horrible things happen to fern, but later he shows up totally happy and working with them, despite fern still seeming uncomfortable. It all has an almost fake reality feel to it, with fern seeing things that no one else acknowledges, and whether thats what the intention was or not I think it really adds a lot to the animation. Sorry for totally creating like 30 conspiracy theorys here, love your content and can't wait to see more! Will definitly check out the comic for some answers :DD

i never thought about it that way, i always thought that maybe brighttail is the daughter of the creator because they look so alike. that would also be the reason why brighttail is named as the protagonist in the run rabbit run animation. either that or maybe brighttail IS the creator and like you said, fern is seeing things no one else sees and is seeing that brighttail can't be trusted. i think since one of fern's eyes was lost she got double the vision in the OTHER eyes and that's why she sees things differently. i think carnival and parade are working for the creator/ are also a threat. notice how their names are so similar, both being large, fun events in which familys attend to. i don't think the mantis thing is actually a threat because she(? can't tell the gender for a robot mantis) seems to be on glitchs side and glitch seems to be on fern and the rest's side. i think the humanoid figures ARE working for the creator but i wouldn't say that they're humans, maybe birds like avena from the high enough animation. yeah i don't know but i am obsessed with this storyline and character because brightgoat never really gives us much info so it's kinda like a little investigation to try to figure out what's happening.

Wait did Parade get Fern's eye? I couldn't help noticing at 1:24 that Parade and Fern's eyes were the same colour not to mention them having the eye that the other lacked, Parade with his left eye and Fern with her right. Ok theory time! I believe the Creator has something to do with Fern’s sudden flower growth because of the way The Creator held her eye and was surrounded by yellow flowers. It also seems like Brighttale is like another half of the creator or possibly a host for the creator and the way Fern looks at Brighttale has me wondering if she knows. In one of the last scenes, there is a demon like creature with 3 eyes which has me wondering if that could be the Creator as well? The Creator also seems to have some sort of cult and even had a noose during one of the scenes. Also, in one of Brightgoat’s old videos (High Enough) about Almaz there was Carnival who was in this flesh thing and The Creator has a flesh tail, making me wondering if they are somehow in relation to one another. On a happier note, it looks like Fern is coming to terms with her flower “curse” at the end of the video and learning more about it! Also a little side theory, Parade is a fake little manipulative puppet for the Creator. Another side theory is the other flower cats are also, I supposed “cursed” cats by the Creator but I’m not as sure about this theory. I also wonder about that one scene where it seems like the creator is crying surrounded by golden flowers.. This is much longer then my other theory comment on High Enough ヾ(´▽｀;)ゝ

ok so i know i'm two months late haha but i came back to this video bc it's beautiful. so it's confirmed in Brightgoat's deviantart that the creator DID take Fern's eye. why? because shes one of the protagonists. if you haven't read her deviantart article, let me explain. the creator made a universe. remember the place for the "run rabbit run" animation? that is where the creator resides. he "coded" a universe, in which there is a religion and hierarchy based solely on eyes. the creator is their "God" and is the only one with 3 eyes. a creature is yet to be born with 3 eyes. a creature that has no eyes, like the flower cats, are usually used as slaves or are killed. a creature with one eye is used as a slave, usually called "cyclops" in a derogatory manner. a creature with two eyes is the normal, they usually own creatures with one. that is who they serve. creatures with 4 or more eyes are called fake sights. they are usually killed. so, yes, flower cats were made by the creator. in the high enough animation, i think that the fleshy cave (kinda reminded me of terraria if you know what that is haha) is kinda where Carnival resides. i think him and Parade are working together, notice how similar their names are. i think the creator made them for obstacles for the protagonist (Brighttail, Fern, and Almaz), because in her deviantart she says the protagonists WILL face obstacles and HAVE to defeat them, according to the "rules" for the creator. keep in mind, the creator chose these cats as protagonists. and these cats KNOW who he is. they are just trying to find him. the reason Brighttail looks so much like the creator i think, is because she is canonically listed as the "main protagonist". i'm guessing we have an animation on her next. hope this helped!

So, what I understand from Fern's backstory: The Creator took Fern's eye and gave it to Carnival (or is it Parade? I confuse their names all the time) who got his eyes ripped out by the eye cult. The Creator then deleted Fern's dimension. Fern has now a vine growing where her eye once was, and now she travels with Bright and the blue cat (why do I keep forgetting their name?!).

How come Fern became more and more anthropomorphic as the video progressed? At the beginning, she was a quadruped, then became a bit bipedal/somewhat anthro, and by the end was totally anthro and wearing clothes

I love this animation so much, it's creative and has such a nice dynamic tone, not to mention the small facial details! I also really love the idea that Fern's vines react to her emotions!
