I don’t think she was necessarily lying when she said she did everything she could. She wanted him to become better, but he showed her time and time again he wouldn’t. She may have killed him, but she tried to bring him to the light. His death brought her no joy, no happiness, no satisfaction. She simply wanted to keep her new family safe, and protect her old one from getting hurt any more than they already had. This is a masterful animatic, wonderful job

phenomenal work! you drew the designs so well and the part where fireheart was remembering what deathberries are in the past and then transitioning to the present was spectacular! especially love the ending- its so much more heartbreaking to see it this way than by just reading the book, Macleod's voice acting is so emotional and your art does a wonderful job showing yellowfang's grief and fire's fear in a visible format. made me tear up!!! aaa

THIS IS THE KIND OF WARRIORS CONTENT I LIVE FOR. The composition and angles and shots are all so perfectly put together and dynamic and makes this scene from the book all much more dramatic! You perfectly captured the words written in forest of secrets and spectacularly brought it to life with the storyboard!! 2:00 to 2:34 is by far my favorite shots in this, with broken tail slowly crumbling down and yellow fang standing tall with the light in her eyes ARUGH CINEMATOGRAPHY PEAKK!! I can go on and on about this but I don’t wanna sound annoying lol TLDR This is absolutely phenomenal and even if you didn’t get accepted to the WCA team you should be proud of this 100%

Oh my gods this is amazing, yellowfang was always my favorite cat when I read the series, I adored her book and the way that she just truly struggled, and I adored her jadedness, she was my first character who was the grumpy mentor trope, and I loved her for it. This, this is an amazing and emotional animation for her!! And the voice actor did amazingly well omg. Loved this

Yess go for it! He's so inspirational. Reading the book is one thing, but his performance adds multiple new layers to it, like a 4th dimension, filling in spaces I didn't know I wasn't seeing in my first read through. His extreme talent really carried my boards lol. All the little nuances and character acting he gives in his performance really helped me get so many ideas in how to showcase these characters. It was so fun
