The problem with brightheart fanart and official art and merchandise: in the book she is described having a scar of half of her face and a missing ear pretty much, but is only ever shown with a scar around the eye

Firestar LIVES his fiery prophecy main character life, he LOVES girl boss Sandstorm who should've been deputy and totally does not LIE about having feelings for his childhood crush Perfumeleaf that he spoke to twice. Firestar truly is such a perfect character and loyal mate. I bet his behaviour will have zero influence on his apprentice Brambleclaw when he meets a certain kittypet called Jessy. After all, Brambleclaw is also such a loyal and wonderful mate too, he would never be an abusive person who pines for a woman he met a few days ago.
