It be neat if that were the case, but it's probably just circumstantial. I think it probably limits the Erin's creativity when designing the characters. Heck crookedstar himself is nothing like his parents.

My belief is that most Riverclan cats probably have to be somewhat muscular since swimming I'm sure would build up your muscles, so when the other clans call them "chubby" because of the fish Id argue they were more buff. Windclan cats probably more lean from always running, Thunderclan and Shadowclan I'm not sure, I think they would look similar. Skyclan were always known to have rougher paw pads but I'd assume they also be muscular from climbing trees. Idk, that's my interpretation of how different they would look to each other.

ThunderClan, I think at least, would be relatively muscular in their legs because their whole thing is being able to trudge through undergrowth. ShadowClan would probably be on the slightly lighter and leaner end of the spectrum, though not as slender as WindClan, because they're supposed to be quiet and good at sneaking.

Excatly, I’ll just add that Skyclan cats are supposedly strong in the legs too, but with the addition of their legs being longer. I think it was Firestar’s quest where it was mentioned that skyclan’s members could be identified by their legs? Maybe skyclan’s destiny? It was a strange point they brought up for sure😅 I think it’s be funny if they were just really tall, like three inches taller that the other clans

Not necessarily. I’ve seen people who swim competitively and the women are often lean or sleek. Sure, people are different from cats but it would make sense that some cats in RiverClan have lean or sleek bodies.

Actual differences in builds are things like being short-waisted; that is a genuine difference in structure which is 100% benign. Too many people are doing that, and it's just as harmful as the glorification of anorexia.

I have always headcanoned Sandstorm as being big, maybe the same size as Firestar, but definitely larger than him at the start of the series. I've always loved big girls/mollies. Crush your enemies beneath your enormous feet, Amazonian! Catch them fish with your ENORMOUS MUSCLES RiverClan cat! Like seriously, RC cats swim and that takes a ton of pure muscle. They also canonically eat a lot more than other Clans, "getting fat off the fish in the river". Well, they aren't chubby in the books. So obviously all that protein is going somewhere! Ironically, WC prey is likely to be the largest of them all being grassland animals (rabbits, quail, and potentially birds of prey like hawks). So WC cats being lean and mean isn't off the table, either. TC and SC are ambush hunters, feeding off smaller prey like squirrels, mice, voles, frogs, and lizards. Not even snakes! Tsk, tsk.

I love buff Silverstream. But I think she can be big because of her father. Crookedstar is a Riverclan cat - Riverclan cats are bigger than others. Maybe Willowbreeze could be also big since she is half Riverclan, but it less chances And I love the idea that Silverstream pelt looks like mother's, but she is huge as her father. Honestly i always imagined all riverclan cats to be big and buff cause of how many of them are described even when they are half-clan cats or half-rogue like mothwing. Honestly at first I thought silver stream as slender but as I got into the new prophecy and how almost all riverclan cats were described I thought I would make more sense that she was big and buff. Love the fact they made her big and buff it's just a great character design choice in my opinion.
