Ohh Susan, thank you so very much for sharing this video. I’m in tears…. I let myself go a few months ago after a family situation. It brought tough memories back and a rush of emotions that I didn’t know how to deal with. I’m struggling to refocus and live bright days. Your words encouraged me. Thank you! God help me to shine bright again and be of service.

I have 29 years free from another addicition so being able to find and develop a Bright Line identity thru this boot camp is a true blessing and gratitude guides my day. There are struggles so I’m learning to reach out for support and to keep in touch with the community. So much growth. So much. Bless you and your team. You are amazing!

Thank you for this video! ❤❤ Off topic but you should try those zig zag metal headbands. I use them a lot while growing my hair out. Im very sure you'll like them! Cloth headbands are nice but if you're looking for different styles you should check them out. They come in a pack of 5 with different patterns. Just a litte tip from me, look them up online :))

I just discovered your story, and it really resonated with me. I actually cried while watching one of your interviews and after reading all the comments saying how your story has changed their life. Do you have any specific videos or resources on how to manage the withdrawal symptoms of sugar / caffeine / food addiction ❤

I don't follow BLE, but I enjoy your vlogs, and agree that the peace and freedom found in following my food plan immaculately is wonderful. However, I often wonder if it's simply exercising a form of control that stimulates my addictive brain somehow. Still, being addicted to my "bright lines," has to be better than overeating or being in the sugar/flour.

Oh, but self-control is a good and beautiful thing! It’s not the same as “control” in a negative sense, which produces harmful, destructive effects. To the contrary, healthy self-control is a willingness to limit oneself to that which supports, sustains, and promotes life. It is a willingness to avoid indulging to excess (which only produces disease, stress, and discomfort; It drains vitality). Self-control is a wise discipline that enhances life. It accepts healthy limits, and understands the protective effect of boundaries. It produces grace, peace, and rest. When we stop allowing our appetites and desires to control us, we find ourselves free to live more satisfying, more deeply fulfilling lives. Don’t let yourself be deceived, and as a result, lured AWAY from the very type of eating that will FREE you from the tyranny of addiction. You don’t have to be it’s slave. A much richer life awaits you. Be strong and courageous! Reach for it! The rewards are far better and more lasting than food (or anything in the world) can provide. ✨✨✨

@@christinekoester2050 Yeah, I've been at this for 4 years. The 12 steps helps a whole lot, understanding WHY I did that to myself, and building a new life based on willingness, authenticity, and service. I don't feel freedom though, since I'm a "slave" to my meal times, content, and quantities to keep from overeating even what I can have, or binging or sugar/flour. But as I said, it has to be better than binging and sugar/flour. And I am in my right-size body, which I also love. But I was really hoping for a freedom from food, being completely neutral with food, but that hasn't happened. I feel that having to plan every bite down to the gram, eat at specified times of the day, carry food with me if I'm not home at mealtime..that isn't food-freedom. But I will keep at it, because intuitive eating doesn't work for me. I'm a late stage-addict, 10 on the scale. It just is what it is. This is how I manage it.
@erinsymone164517 күн бұрын
I actually found that restrictive eating was very much the negative form of control for me. I don’t think binging etc is good obviously but maintaining fanatical control over my food intake for years definitely drove me to the point of insanity.
@ellek650514 күн бұрын
@@erinsymone1645 Well, I've tried the other way--intuitive eating, and I'd rather be this way, than binging. It's all the same disease...addiction. But at least now, I'm not binging on harmful things like sugar and flour.
