Spurs didn't play well in the NLD but did have chances after 20 mins in that game. Went down to 10 men which would have impacted the game. Arsenal fans were crying the same when Spurs played them off the pitch at Spurs to destroy their CL hopes. Arsenal won the game last week against the 10 and deservedly so. For Spurs, apart from a lacklustre display, to go to Germany in CL and get a draw was vital. Now with the sad passing of someone they held dear would have affected them mentally and emotionally, on top of the travel and physical exertions. It was up to Brighton to break Spurs down. The 352 worked for Tottenham. Not playing free-flowing football but getting results. More belief in their ability which let's face it, we know they have. The table doesn't lie.

I feel that Harry is so wasteful in front of goal in this Brighton game. He has at least 3 or 4 chances to put at least 2 goals away but he only scored once. Not good enough for a big name player liked him. Furthermore, he was also too slow when he got the ball at times, thus slowing down our attack and this is the most hated thing that I wanted to see. If only we loose this game, he will be my first name on the sheet to be fully blamed for it. He is a kind of slow and old, he is only 30 and even my grandpa can move faster than him.

@@COYS111 can anybody go and tell the Spurs owner and Levy, we need a new top class if not world class out and out striker right NOW in the upcoming transfer window. Kane is getting old already and very predictable to play against, so to keep up with the pace of ManC, we need to bring in 1 top quality striker to replace Kane in the summer, if not in January before it’s too late.

Brighton played the better football after the first 20. I don't think they got enough credit for pegging Spurs back most of the game. Brighton deserved a draw at least. But in fairness.. we were not clinical enough I'm front of goal and that's what lost us the game.

Sorry mate have to disagree with you . Spurs were the stronger team up until the last 15 mins of the first half , second half Brighton pushed but Conte had the low block in place .

I disagree also. We had better quality chances they didn’t peg us as back as you say. They were a Soild opposition but they didn’t play better. Score could of easily been 3-0

@@wrzdtrades9113 yes I agree, spurs did have the better chances but taking into account the alleged quality gap between the two teams I don't think many would suggest that Brighton were outclassed. Brighton pushed Spurs to the limit and you say it could have been 3-0 but equally if Brighton had been more clinical it could have been 3-1 Brighton. As it was..Kane was desisive. Regardless though, Tottenham didn't roll us over and I still think Brighton were value for a draw.
