She was a very privileged woman from an aristocratic family who married into the dysfunctional and out of touch Windsor clan, hardly an inspiring character. However, Diana was very successful at being able to manipulate the gutter UK press to craft an image of being one of 'us' e.g. the "people's princess" but in reality she was just a privileged aristo who unveiled plaques, opened hospitals and turned out to dinners. She was a multifaceted character (like most people) appeared normal in that she was less concerned about protocol than the family she married into; she merley used the press very successfully (and they loved her) some British people bought into the fake image. So less overrated more it's a very boring story and when the present queen passes its time to finally go for a REPUBLIC.

Now, she seems like a great mom as well as wife, rolling down hills with her kids, running around barefoot playing with them. Sending her children to school, bringing them with them whenever they can. I honestly can't imagine Markle doing half of those things. How many people have already quit over her in such a short time? Diana changed the rules because that was her way to communicate with people and show her compassion. Her actions never seem fake or make a bad impression to the public (ex : she just wants to break the rule) and that's all because of her sincerity and kind heart. Her fashion were elegant and it suits her, doesn't give an impression that she simply wants to change things to work her way to make her seem powerful. She's just an angel sent from Heaven and it's sad that her husband didn't see her as a blessing most of us see.

I lived in the middle of nowhere in a big house, started boarding school when i was 8, and never really met ordinary people. It really is a different world. I see Diana’s efforts to integrate her children with normal children as combating the struggle that i still face - breaking from tradition and being human, like everyone else. Im currently 18 and at uni, and its a big culture shock, learning things i didnt know before. I do have what i call “private school moments” where i naïvely say something posh without knowing, but im learning to be normal, and i couldnt be happier. I think Diana went through the same thing

It amazes me to see the Royal Family become progressive. I doubt if they had it their way however they would keep it as progressive, but with changing times even a monarchy needs to undergo change & do personal inventory of their presence & worth to the people. The British Monarchy Listened but only after a tragedy did they see how much more powerful an open Royal can be. If your not open, your closed to new ideas & become out of date which would give birth to a disastrous occurrence to ANY Monarch. Some even forget who they rule over & take advantage of their strengths, The PEOPLE. I Pray The Royal family to remain progressive but maintain compassion for the people. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
