Gabriel, você tem razão, imagine pra mim que além de ter o mesmo sangue e sobrenome cheguei a vê-lo tocar. Era garoto, não tinha ideia da grandiosidade da obra deste meu tio, quando penso em sua história, o que precisou enfrentar para se tornar este ícone da nossa música, a quantidade de pessoas que influenciou e continua influenciando no Brasil e no mundo, a quantidade músicas que tirou do zero....fico simplesmente encantado! Gostaria de poder voltar no tempo e poder reverenciá-lo, agradecer-lhe, beijar-lhe as mãos..que por sinal, eram muito parecidas com as do meu pai, gordinhas, peludinhas mágicas no violão...rsrsrs eles eram muito parecidos, quanta saudade, chega a doer, ainda bem que é uma dor embalada por música da melhor qualidade, uma dor gostosa rsrsrs!!!

I myself remember that the very first guitar recordings I've heard was two or three LPs from Dilermando that my parents had. Lauter Unvollkommenheit good point! This also reminded me of Manuel Ponce whose preludes I’ve actually attempted! My comment appears to be breaking down quite a bit, probably because while I know all these composers, my favorites are from earlier periods: Tarrega, Bach, Carcassi, Sanz, Mertz.
