This is an issue you need to push the plastic piece all the at in to grab the metal part then turn. The book shows the piece being flush but the way they positioned the metal part you need to shove it in a good cm to access it

WARNING: On new models the bottom part is changed, and has an extra step before you attach the second main wise. With the one I just purchased, the bottom slab is a couple cm thicker. So the camlocks need to be pushed in that couple cm, looks different. Also there is a third front facing bottom part. It should be added before the right side is attached.
