Whoa that’s crazy that she brought up the “moving through a chocolate vat to move slower” exercise. About 2 months ago I was listening to this band I used to love back in the day called Sublime and in this one song he’s singing about a girl he can’t get out of his head, but he can’t really figure out why, and he sings: “Maybe cuz she moves so slow...” and as I was listening to this it hit me. I ALWAYS find people (men and women) more attractive when they (literally) move more slowly in life. They lack that desperate, frenetic energy so many of us have today and seem so much more confidant and still within themselves. So I started trying to just slow down-slow down not just my movements but my breathing, my thinking, and it’s really kinda changed me from the inside out. Whenever I start getting all amped up I’ll just hum to myself: “Maybe cuz she moves so slooooww” lol and it takes me back in that calm place where I want to be.

Whitney Angelie I’m happy to have read this. I’m so OCD, I get on my own nerves. I have to slow down. I’m late for everything every day. I’m going crazy checking the house and vacuum cleaner marks. It’s bad. 😱🤯I act as if someone is going to come over while I’m gone and murder me when I return, if it’s not PERFECT!!
@whitneyangelie36824 жыл бұрын
QueeN B Oh girl I can so relate! I used to be bad in my OCD traits, having to do these little rituals for every damn thing and it was affecting my life in a bad way. I realized that I felt totally out of control in my mind (and in my life) so I was trying to control my surroundings instead (with excessive cleaning and excessive primping/working out). Anyway, I started practicing “mindfulness” and it’s helped me a lot. I learned how important it is to BREATHE, you gotta slow them beats down lol stop making your heart work overtime because it manifests in the brain as anxiety. I’ve learned that’s it’s literally impossible to feel anxious if you just breathe slowly and focus on the present moment ; it slows everything down, your entire nervous system included. It takes some practice to begin with to break old habits but after a while of working at it it will change your life.

Thanks for this insight! I can testify that a marriage can come back together even after long separations. We have been separated for 5 years and after all this time, AND with VERY difficult circumstances, we are now reconnecting again. Building something new. I was always the dominant one before and that drove him away. With the help of God and learning to let go of the control, I am learning to be warmer and more feminine and letting him lead. It's SO much better. Miracles do happen! Trust God for the impossible!

This is a bit long because I needed to write my thoughts down. I am still in the beginning of this video and already realized something about me. I had a very stressful year bc of work, then failed and now I try a second time. I fell in love with my best friend when this period started and at first he was all about me and improving himself/life/job so that I would fit into his life. He wanted to step up. I was powerful in the relationship then because I felt centered and happy with me and my life. Then the struggles at work started, I failed and now 1 1/2 years later the end of the struggle is near. But it completly changed our dynamic and I feel now powerless and dependent on him. He does what he wants and doesnt look too much after me anymore. He still loves me and all but my needs aren't met at all for a long time now. I just realized the reason being 15 min in the video. It is me and my inner struggles with my failure. Thank you for reading ♡

Enjoyed the insight. Please clear up my confusion: 1. It may takes 2 years for a confused man to come out of the fog 2. Rori waited one year for her man 3. Yet, in the end of this session, the question of how long to wait for him, she stated “zero”. Is this term “wait” to mean continue doing oneself while circular dating, gathering data as the Siren, discarding what doesn’t work, exploring and practicing “warmth and distance” as some sort of “in the meantime” experience? Planning to get back on this journey and am truly excited! Thank you again for bringing this interview with Rori! I learned so much from you both.
@MissSarahGM5 жыл бұрын
I also find it confusing.
@metanoiahealingarts48715 жыл бұрын
It’s about the internal energetic state. If you circular date it helps keep your energy off the guy you really like while he works his wounding out. You should not “wait” as in creates a waiting, needy energy .... aka put your life on hold, sit around waiting, or focus the majority of your daily energy trying to “get him to like you.” There are different ways to get to that energetic state and circular dating is not the only way.
@MissSarahGM5 жыл бұрын
@@metanoiahealingarts4871 thank you, I was confused because she said it took about a year for her man and later she said to never wait. What is your vision of circular dating? Staying open emotionally to people around you, not only men? It is difficult to shift the waiting and hoping energetically state, how do you do that?
@metanoiahealingarts48715 жыл бұрын
Well.... for me... when I reached a level in self love and awareness keeping my energy focused on myself became much easier. Even when I slip realigning happens fast. The key is healing familial and childhood wounding. Also integrating limiting beliefs. The second key is lots of self care. Movement, nature, nourishing foods, and taking care of my body first and foremost... including my emotional health. Also meditation is a important to learning internal balance and how to dance with energy. A rotation and getting out to date... or just meeting new people is something I constantly do. Flirting, and having fun. Practicing my feminine charms. Hope that makes sense. ☺️
@MissSarahGM5 жыл бұрын
@Blanche Blanch I had understood circular dating was even being open to people of all sexes, just exercising our openness and warmth without expectations. Not specifically flirting with many men. I agree with what you say about respecting the decision when they withdraw. After all they are the ones knowing what's good for them, and we also are right to pull back because it doesn't feel good to be ignored. Respecting ourselves and valuing our needs is hard but once we get there, the good relationship can manifests. I have met a new man who seems to know what he wants, a life partner and monogamy, he asks meaningful questions and seems genuinely interested. He shows me respect and care that it almost surprises me and raises my suspicion after I have met so many confuses/players/narcissists online dating. I will stay as much as I can in my feminine energy while also asserting boundaries and my needs. It is important early on they sense we are willing to walk away if they don't treat us well. I see how important it is to teach them how to treat us. I now wonder how to communicate I will be sexual only if we are committed.. if you have any suggestion I will appreciate it.

Circular dating is exhausting for me. He would not want you dating any other men. If he does not commit, then he is waiting for “The One”. If a man does meet “The One” he will marry you, because he does not want you to marry someone else! It does not take a man 2 years to figure out if she is “The One”. A certain “time” is not a prerequisite for “Real Love”! My boyfriend proposed THREE WEEKS after we first met, and 5 months later, we were married! And we have been married for 25 years! A guy can treat me amazing but if I’m not attracted to him physically it won’t happen. I don’t entertain men I’m not attracted to. I met someone recently I liked but he was not my type and and I don’t want to have to resent him or myself for giving into something like that. I was engage once to someone who treated me great but I was not attracted to him. I was younger and won’t do that again.

Same. There has to be a chemistry there. but I can get to know someone as a friend first and then decide if there is an attraction growing. I;d rather start out at a higher plane...talking and meeting in our minds and hearts.

That was very a interesting interview. Please have Rori Raye more often! In the end she answers that we should never wait for a man, but in the beginning she explains it might take 2 years to wait for a "confused" wounded man, while circular dating, and she says she waited for a year in her case. I'd really love a video about stepping back vs. withdrawing. It can trigger our wounds when a man pulls back and bring up pain that causes us to pull away ourselves. I know this is harmful and also instinctive.

I really love this video! I can see where I can improve! Going through a breakup right now, i can understand some mechanism in my behavior! Sometimes it is just hard to change. Like, yes I fell in love with him , showed him and opened to him and became afraid of losing him once he was taking distance in a certain way and being confused. His ex was still on his mind, he was back on dating apps... It felt to me like I was again not good enough so I confronted him and he finally broke up! We were only dating for 6 weeks but it was realy intense, i thought and felt he was my "one". So yes in a certzin way I pushed him away. Thing is I cannot stay on the sideline waiting for him to make up his mind... I do not want to be second choice, I want a man that chooses to be with me! And so as he is becomming confused and acting distant I take this as a rejection! So scared to be used! So scared to just stay at the sideline and remain receiving and feminine for a while to be dumped finally for someone else... I also dont want to lose presious time with a man that is hesitant, while I could find someone that will choose for me! You see what I mean? So I was first chill, then when fell for him scared to lose him (we really have a great match regarding vision in life)and then scared to be a second choice and used. So how can I improve this, cause I realise now that this is becomming a patern. I just want to love and be loved for who I am by a man...

A non-committal man needs a non-committal woman for the non-relationship to continue. When you stop being emotionally unavailable yourself you’ll easily be turned off by a lukewarm man. And emotionally available feminine women always tend to be more drawn toward a man who is pursuing them. We are naturally melted by a guy’s active investment, not the other way around. That’s the way of nature for millennia so don’t go against it. - Katarina Phang

I needed this right now.. kinda dating a guy .. when I showed him somewhat interest .. he pull back and told me he wants freedom etc... I also told him I wanted the same as I recently just a few months ago got out of a relationship (so did he) yet we are attracted to eachother. But the seeing him and then disconnected days at a time is something I’m just not used to. I may decide not to see him again because I feel I may develop feeling for a man that is all over the place.

The video is awesome! Well done ladies, however I have a problem when we have to generalize as to how much time would a woman prefer to spend with her mand and also how much time a woman prefers as a pulling away moment. Instead of generalizing by what feels good to us and apply it to all women it's a bit unrealistic. For a example Rori would prefer to see her husband every night whilst another personality type would prefer to see her man 3 times a week. It all depends on an individual. By trying to put time frames we start to do (musculine) instead of resting into our feminine core. Take introverts or Infj by mere of a psychology complex for example which I think they tend to do better with the push/pull dance because the only way they recharge it's when they by themselves. Love you ladies❤️. Also it depends on the level of healing a woman is at at that moment in relation to the extent of handling their emotions.
@HelenaHartCoaching3 жыл бұрын
Yes, we always recommend that a woman get in touch with what feels good to HER in a relationship - like Rori said in this video, it’s going to be different for everyone.
