Lyrics: It's the start of the end Surrender the throne The blood on my hands covered the holes We've been surrounded by vicious cycles And we're truly alone The scars on your heart are yours to atone We've been surrounded Let 'em sing, let 'em sing! The deeper you dig, the darker it gets There's nowhere else for us to go We live what we learn, and then we forget We'll never find our way back home Come on! They came like moths to a flame You left like a house in a hurricane (The wolves are at my door) It's the start of the end Surrender the throne The blood on my hands covered the holes We've been surrounded by vicious cycles The end - and we're truly alone The scars on your heart are yours to atone We've been surrounded Let 'em sing, let 'em sing! I hear them clawing at the gates (Let us in, let us in) I hear them calling out my name (I don't care) Let them sing, let them sing, let them sing Let the bastards sing Let them sing, let them sing Let the bastards sing Let them sing, let them sing Let the bastards sing Let the God-forsaken bastards sing They came like moths to a flame You left like a house in a hurricane The wolves are at my door But I can see the writing on the walls The wolves are at my door Waiting for my empire to fall It's the start of the end Surrender the throne The blood on my hands covered the holes We've been surrounded by vicious cycles The end - and we're truly alone The scars on your heart are yours to atone We've been surrounded Let 'em sing, let 'em sing!

Not a pure fanboy of BMTH but if people had to vote worldwide and that Sempiternal hit the first rank for the "Album of the year" in every single country, I'd have to say that it deserves its title 100 times and a thousand more. Every time someone says 'ew I will never like metal, all they do is scream' I want to tell them that they have clearly never heard bmth. Oli's screamo is the best absolute BEST I've ever heard. I couldn't stand these guys before their last album. But damn they've really grown as artists. "There is a Hell" and now Sempiternal are a great step forward for them. GREAT albums!

I love how this is instrumentally sooooo influenced by Cult of Luna, fused with the Chester Benington-type vocals. It's so weird i love it.

When he sings the wolf's are at my door he sounds like Chester from Linkin Park near the end

( im very christian and i love it just expressing my opinion in the comment im about to share): Religion is like a penis. If you love yours good. If you have one great! But dont swing it around in public and dont shove it down kids throats when they dont want it

Well, you`re obviously swinging it around in public. So stop giving us your torn sermon.

You, my friend, don't seem to get that that's exactly what he did, he contradicted himself. It's called a paradox. Insulting me for stating the obvious - mkay. Whatever man ;-)
@brxg648310 жыл бұрын
imBeingBlackMailedByGoogle+ You don't seem to understand the meaning of paradox. If he was, as you say, "swinging it around", then he would be stuffing it in your face. He simply stated that he was christian. If I was to state that I was atheist, would i be shoving my beliefs in your face? Damn, the BMTH fanbase is so intolerant.
