Just a piece of my mind to everyone who are babbling about new stuff and old stuff: Do what you want, think what you want, I'm not here to change the way you see Bring Me The Horizon. But try think about this: Did you like the same stuff you like today 4 years ago? Did you listen to the same music you do now? More importantly, have you been doing exactly the same stuff everyday since four years ago? Always play the same game, always watch the same series, always read the same book? Or did you discover along the road a lot of new stuff that you happen to enjoy as well, whether they are related to was you liked before or not? Well, guess what: BMTH's members are people just like you. They changed, they tried different things, they moved on. Just as you did. Please, don't think of artists as your best friends who are supposed to only sound the way *you* like them to sound or else -oh noes- they've betrayed you. If they changed, give them a chance. Sometimes is more the surprise factor from something sounding so different from what you were expecting what makes you feel disappointing, but later it'll grow on you. If you still don't like it and prefer their older work, then it's okay, nobody is trying to force you to like them at all costs. But just accept it and move on, geez. Just cherish the good moments and go find another band you like. And yes, I don't like the way they sound in their new album but, so what? Same happens with all the bands at some point. People change. Bands change. We carry on with our lives. IMHO.
