My all time fav from them. This album just hits too deep after going through some hard times back in 2010-2012

The BEST reaction I've honestly ever watched! You just "get it" I love your excitement 😊 you're knowledgeable & seem genuinely grateful for the gift of music and love it on higher level than many. TIAHBISITIAHLKIAS😂 is Such a great album! EVERY track is enjoyable. Oli, the lead vocalist, is the mastermind behind BMTH, he's SO LOVED for being a high quality human being as well as an icon in "The Scene" insane good looks aside, he is a talented genius, epic, and iconic voice in all it's forms. He's also an actual decent dude, suffers lots of mental illness and drug addiction, many fans, like me, can relate. Anyway, Oli Sykes writes most all the lyrics (w the help of keyboardist Jordan Fish) and does so from his real experiences, which is why his emotions can be felt listening to his vocal delivery, it's so dope. Mat Nichols is the drummer and learned to play drums while playing in the band, knew nothing when they started the band as "young lads" in Sheffield, England back in 2004. They were only 16-18 yr olds, it's almost impossible how damn talented they were at such young ages, in there 20's for this record? 🤯 Blows my mind, they were and are SO DAMN GOOD! Should read the back story on song "Don't Go" It's based on a (terrible) truth which happened in his family. I think they've only performed it on tour twice, and that live vid is on KZbin, it's worth a watch, so emotional. Singer naned 'Lights' is the female feature on both 'Don't Go' & 'Crucify Me' Band has somewhat of a cult-like following, for which I'm a member, being their fan is more of a lifestyle, they are unbelievably humble and pretty decent human beings to boot! Ok, enough rambling. Blessed With A Curse is my favorite and then Crucify Me, but they're all excellent, no matter genre, album or era. Can't wait for more of your reaction to this epic band. Sempiternal will blow your mind as will most of what they've put out, including all the collabs.

I didn't think it was confirmed, just speculation about his cousin being involved in the murder if Terry Hurst? I knew the poor lad was in oli's year at school and a friend. I used to laugh at his almost crying vocals in Don't go until I found the meaning behind it. Then I felt bad😮 Very sad about the new departure of Jordan. Seeing them in Jan, and hoping the quality of the music isn't too different. Massive devide with fans glad he's left, thinking they'll go bk to heavy routes, even though it was Oli decision. But blame Jordan anyway😂😂. Then the opposite end of fans trying to claim Jordan is the genius behind the band entirely. Guess no-one watches interviews with them or their behind the scenes stuff. They were the dream team and I still can't believe he's gone.

Idk why no one pointed it out but on the track Fuck, the clean vocals are actually Josh Franceschi from the band You Me At Six (my tied favourite band with BMTH 😅)

Ikr. I wàs surprised too. He sounds nothing like Oli. Did you see them play on tour with them in 2021? They were awesome. Amazing night. They have bad omens accompanying them this next time I see them in Jan. Excited for that too. Although gutted about Jordan not going to be there. Hope it still sounds as good. He will be hugely missed IMO. I know that's not everybody's thoughts.

Love this. Bring Me definitely make some bold moves moving forward from this album (Definitely worth checking them out). It's pretty well known within the genre how much those moves influenced other bands - they've always been one step ahead in that sense. Oh and they also played a one-off charity show with an orchestra, which is also on Spotify and I'm sure you'll dig (A few tracks from this album are on the setlist). Looking forward to Sempiternal!

Let's goooo. One of the best albums of all time. So many crazy lyrics. The riffs. Violins. Choires. The switchups. The melodies. I know you'll do Sempiternal, but you should also check out two songs from earlier albums: Chelsea Smile and Pray for Plagues. Prepare for heaviness. Also: On "Fuck", the singing voice was actually a feature. The lead singer is called Oli Sykes and BMTH started out as a full-fledged deathcore band, and they've consistently grown and switched up their style. Oli actually did hurt his voice a lot, to the point where he had to get surgery on his vocal chords.

He did not hurt his vocals from not using the correct technique though, that's a fan made rumour. He actually contracted laryngitis whilst on tour, and he carried on anyway. I mean there were other small factors too, he said in an interview that he never used to warm up his vocals either which is bad, but he said he felt stupid doing it. But since he had a vocal coach to learn how to actually sing, because he was totally tone Def in that respect, they taught him how to properly warm up too. Now they do a mini live stream before alot of tours just before they get on stage, and you can see him warming his vocals here sometimes. But his sheer dedication is something to be proud of. They do Great music whatever they try. Bar the odd blip. Songs to listen too (and the rest of that long ass title 😂) I don't Inc that.

@@carolinecoy3164uhhh his technique was definitely hurting his voice dude. That’s why his vocal technique swapped for sempiternal before he got a vocal coach and changed his technique again around the amo era.

You should defo react to Sempiternal. It's insanely good. Subscribed because of this. This band is insane. Even when they went down their pop rock era. It's still perfectly done. Alot of people get oli wrong with his whole loosing his voice. he did not loose his voice because he didn't know the correct technique, as you said, hed hardly get through a song let alone a full tour, he actually contracted laryngitis whilst on tour and carried on anyway. 😬 That's what killed it almost completely. But he recovered, then after getting clean from drugs he said he wanted to sing not scream as much anymore. He also got a vocal coach because he was tone def and couldnt sing at all. And here we are. Theyre now making such amazing and cool songs, from every genre and every kind of collab you can think of. And theres been some reall good ones too. Theyre Sooooo good live now. Unbeatable IMO.. Another to react to is live at the royal Albert hall, with a full orchestra. Now that is as sweeeeeeet as it gets. And theres a real mixture of their styles when they did that 1. You will not be disappointed. I dare anyone to disagree here, because i know they wont😂😂 loved this full album reaction 😃😃🤩🤩

I've not long since got into this album. Heard ding go and blessed with a curse and had to give it a go. Sempiternal is what got me hooked on the band. And I still love it, and their other albums, but this album is so good. So emotional. Sad he never sings them live anymore.

I don't know if you know the backstory for Oli's first verse in Dont' go.... But look it up, and listen to it again it will give you the shivers....

I’m surprised no one mentioned it but the song Don’t Go is unconfirmed but is supposedly about Oli’s cousin and his two friends that “befriended” a kid and went out to the woods with the intent to murder him. The lyrics “slaughtered him with a scythe” and “stamped on his face, an impression in the dirt” are what the kids ended up doing to the poor kid. Stole a scythe from a nearby church and hunted him down. This whole thing was definitely real but the speculation is if the one kid was actually Oli’s cousin. After hearing about that it makes the song hit so much harder.

So in the song "Fuck" the screaming is all done by Oli the lead vocalist, but all the cleaner singing is done by a different vocalist. On the album it was Josh Franceschi of "You Me at Six," and now that they have Jordan Fish in BMTH, he does all the clean lyrics on albums from Sempiternal onwards, and, for the most part, all clean vocals live.

I mean this isn’t true regarding Jordan, Oli does the cleans (or at least the vast majority onwards) from Sempiternal onwards, Jordan’s definitely more prominent live but still the majority is still Oli

Bmth is one of the best bands of this generation. Even switching their sound they still manage to produce sounds that absolutely clap my cheeks. I'm curious to see what they come up with without Jordan, but I'm ready for it.

The song FUCK isnt oli singing at the end, its the vocalist of you me at six. Great band Btw. Toured with them in 21 uk and they were an amazing band. 1st time id properly heard them. Please react to thats the spirit or post human survival horror. Dont think ud like Amo. Very experimental. But i love alot if songs on there too. Just to get a flavour of all their very different styles. You nay like them too. They're very good at whatever they put their mitts on.
