Novembre 2024: the chat doesn't show in any position when you are supposed to see the tab at minute 6:02. I've already updated everything: Nvidia drivers, LIV (even checked for corrupted files), Quest2, Windows (upgraded and rebooted). But nothing.

this came in clutch as a new streamer. I am having trouble setting the basic fixed and getting it to stay permanently but its better than nothing.

@@bricwayisagood217 LIV doesn't, if anything I would just use the oculus window (while at your oculus home page once you've airlinked) to pin the chat to your experience. It'll always be in view depending on where you place it but it's better than nothing.

After setting this up and having the liv steamer kit open, my Twitch chat wouldn't load while on population one, it was only available on my steam vr home screen. Do you have a fix for that? Am I doing something wrong?

Did you enable it? There is a toggle under the chat tab called "Enabled" this should be turned on, and will be green if it is.

Took several tries and errors, but I think I found the way. Make sure that it is running on the same graphics as the vr. So if I had a nvidia gpu on my laptop, I'd go and change the live vr app to be high performance which would result it running on the nvidia gpu! :D

Is there a way to have the Chat viewable by the streamer, but not on stream?

I've seen some people place it overhead, and look up to read it with their eyes, and not move there headset view. Not sure if this works well as I have not done it myself.

@@SkyCandy but to your knowledge there isn't a way to have it as an overlay for just the streamer? Can you capture just the Gameplay like normal, and have the VR Display for the streamer only? Ordering a Valve Index this week, so I don't have anything to test things with yet. Just researching, and curious at this point

I havent tried the steamVR thing - but this has lots of options to pin and move the window, as well as set transparency options and attach it to your wrist.
