If you can login to Tiktok via a web browser and see chat that way (maybe by watching your own livestream?) you might be able to use the meta browser for that.

I know this came out like a year ago but when I open a steam game the LIV stops working. Do you know of any way to fix this?

OpenXR is becoming more popular and non-SteamVR native headset (All Oculus, WMR, Pimax, Varjo, etc, headsets) and LIV currently requires SteamVR to properly function for both LIV Capture and LIV StreamerKit products. You can set SteamVR to be your OpenXR compositor by going to your SteamVR settings > show advanced settings > developer tab > set SteamVR as OpenVR runtime.

Alright so I went ahead and went to the OpenXR and set it as my runtime. When I open my game the chat box still doesn’t appear. Also in my OpenXR API Layers has nothing in it if that’s the problem

With LIV you would need their login info in order to access their chat. But with OVR Toolkit you could just pop up their chat as a seperate window and bring that into VR with you.

It will, yes! Any headset that is running through SteamVR.

I went to use KZbin Livestream Chat in VR when I went to youtube tap said "Your KZbin account is currently not enabled for Live Stream!" but I enabled it while ago.

Thanks for the updated video! For the LIV Streamerkit is there a way to 'shortcut' in Steam VR to have the option to have the chatbox launch only when I need it and not using the regular LIV for Avatar/Mixed Reality so it doesn't launch the whole LIV suite? As far as I can tell need to launch LIV first, then Streamer Kit, then close the main LIV window if I'm not using it.

Not *as* short but in the LIV Suite window where SK is there is a checkbox to have it open automatically once LIV is launched. (It's the auto launch checkmark next to the launch streamerkit button). So whenever you launch LIV from Steam, SK will open up automatically.

If you're using SLOBS you can use the Open VR Capture source (just be aware stream will be able to see *everything* your headset sees, including the Steam VR dashboard. Otherwise you can capture the Steam VR mirror, or download Open VR Capture plugin for OBS: github.com/baffler/OBS-OpenVR-Input-Plugin

Unfortunately not with StreamerKit no. You'd have to pop out chat either from your Facebook dashboard or from SLOBS and use the Steam dashboard or OVR Toolkit methods to see c hat in VR.

You can use OVR Toolkit in combination with the Tiktok live studio (just pop out chat): kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHKcgYmfi7mog7Msi=nE2FENjHwQM1yIo-&t=372 or if you are savvy enough, just use a phone mirroring service (I use Samsung Flow because it works with my phone) to bring your phone's screen over to you PC, then use OVR Toolkit to pick up that window instead.

Yes, while LIV will never "take over" your account it needs these permissions in order to function properly to allow you to control some aspects of your account through it.
