No, not always. A quote that didn't make it into Huggbees' video is, "I maintain that, as long as you tell a German loudly and clearly what to do, if you are senior to him he will cry 'jawohl' and get on with it enthusiastically and efficiently." So we do know that he could at least stop laughing long enough to wave a sword and tell Wehremacht soldiers to submit. He also didn't laugh when playing his bagpipes. With his unit dead or wounded, and he had expelled every cartridge and gremade, and there was nothing left to throw at his enemy, he took up his bagpipes and started playing Will Ye No Come Back Again. This was the moment before he was knocked unconscious and tsken prisoner.

Small point of order: "Claymore" meaning "Greatsword" is considered historically dubious by many historians. The type of sword that definitely was called a Claymore, and that mad Jack used, was. Basket hilted broadsword, similar to Renaissance era cavalry swords. A pattern of these were (and still are) in use by Scottish regiments in the Army, and that's what he carried into battle, as opposed to a longsword or greatsword.

The Victoria cross is much more valuable then the medal of honour, the Victoria cross was made after the Crimean war in 1856 being awarded 1,358 times , the medal of honour was made in 1861 being awarded 3,527 times. Also keep in mind that this award is across the entire British empire and many former colonies are still authorised to award it today, with the requirements to earn one constantly increasing.

1. 1:08 even before DMC, impressive 2. *the high frequency part is a reference to metal gear right?* 3. 3:33 *he really fucking hated buffalos* 4. 6:10 now I notice that he could also be a reference to Mad Jack xd 5. 9:35 I really wonder how much personal stuff they let you bring for him to be able to go with medieval weapons and an instrument bigger that my current university backpack 6. 11:11 honestly if I was holding a gun and saw someone managing to defeat entire groups of soldiers with a sword running towards me I would also surrender and get on the floor(? 7. 14:35 the more I think about it the more I think Mad Jack would work better as a villain/psychopath character than a hero… or at least an antihero xd 8. 18:37 great energy tho

Adrian Carton de Wiart. The unkillable soldier, lost an eye in Africa, got shot multiple times in ww2, ripped off his fingers after a doctor refused to amputate them, lived into his 80s. And is quoted as saying, "Frankly, I quite enjoyed the war."

I carry a sword just because I can. Wyoming's knife laws are wonderfully vague. Theres no difference between a katana and a large hunting knife , both of which you can carry almost everywhere thanks to our constitutional carry laws. Cops did shoot a drunk , sword wielding native a while back but the sword wasn't why the cops were there , they were there because he robbed a convenience store.

There is an American soldier from WWII that not only fought for the US, he got captured twice by the Germans and ended up fighting with the Soviets and with the famous female tank commander. He also met Zhukov and went back to his hometown where they already had held a funeral for him. Potential History made a video on him.

Would you cover The White Death AKA Simo Häyhä? If you have I would love to look back on that. Dude is estimated to have killed over 542 soldiers in 100 days by himself with an M/2830 sniper rifle and a Suomi-KP/31 sub machine gun by running through the woods hiding in the snow the only thing protecting him from the -40 temperature and sight lines being his pure white suit he adorned. He used iron sights on his sniper instead of a scope and was not only shot in the face with an explosive bullet but they tried to blow him up nothing ever killed him or came close. I can't find any record of it but something I watched before tried to state that he was high on methamphetamine during this but I'm not sure at all, I do know it's one of the most insane stories I've ever read about another human being.
@JustATreeMann

There is record on him. He got some nickname along 'Best Sniper' and was for sure of Asian Discint (I'm thinking Japanese and he used a white Berett 50 BMG with iron sights, and used a white cloak to hide himself along the snowy tundra)
@dsouthmonster
@dsouthmonster Жыл бұрын
@Tree'sWRLD Oh for sure the "record" I meant was the methamphetamine part that is the only thing that's not factually stated somewhere. Now granted it is stated that there was no real record of his kills recorded it was all by account and bodies they recovered. He stated himself that they were his "sins" and that the number is really just an estimate by Wikipedia it quotes that his authority said he did roughly 250 kills with each so the numbers (The numbers Mason what do they mean?) do add up.
