It has been more rainy than normal. August and September are the wettest months here. I am at our remote recreational cabin and just in the last few days we have had over 2” of rain. We use it in our cistern for the kitchen sink and shower.

Congratulation s your new property. The knives and saw in that plastic case are for game butchering...fyi. I think I would tear down that cabin and start over...but that is just me. It certainly needs a new foundation, underpinnings, siding, etc. Wish you well.

We are just going to use it for storage for now. Will be building a much larger cabin. Yes, we figured out that it was a butchering kit. Not sure we will use that but we shall see.

I keep a butchering set like that in my truck in case I get lucky and get in on a moose roadkill.
