Opening the blinds would give them enrichment. Nice that you could take him.

I have a rescued African Grey. I have no idea how many homes she was in, but I think she's had a revolving door. We've had her at least 10 years. She still hates me but loves my husband. I am terrified of what will happen to her when we can't care for her anymore. I agree with you, though I don't care about the money. I just want her to have a loving home.

You can see that Foster is happy with his new home. He like the company of other birds. Then he is not so alone. With Marco, he was an only bird, and that is not good for birds. Danny and Carol have a nice and big home. There is room for the birds to fly, to stretch their wings. Of course he need some time to adjust and to get used to the other birds, but I think that is not going to be a problem. He look happy to me, and If you make an Einstein out of him (teach him to talk), then he can tell us himself how happy he is.😅.😆. Danny and Carol are lucky to have such a beautiful and sweet bird like Foster.

@SERENITYpeace2 жыл бұрын
Yeah… when my Grey puffs up like that it means he’s a bit scared so it would be totally understandable that this Grey is puffed up. Greys are notoriously phobic birds and scared of new things/situations. It takes time and patience for them to be comfortable in a new home with new people AND birds

All is fine to get a good home for your parrott but, having the expense of caring for this bird which is pricey...that is why to have people who can afford it is important! Everthing has to be taken into consideration.
